Hard to say. Did you "get" that he was feeling emotional for the replicants? I'm not sure what else the voiceovers really added ....

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

10 Cloverfield Lane.

FANTASTIC!! Not super necessary to see the first film, but definitely adds to it. Highly recommended!

Watched Star Wars: A New Hope over the weekend. My younger kids have definitely NOT seen it enough times.

(The original will always rock!)

Watched The Good Dinosaur last night. That's a cute movie. My four year old has been crawling around on all fours like Spot.

Saw it yesterday and actually didn't care for it. It was pretty much exactly what I thought it was going to be, and little more. John Goodman's too lovable to be scary

It was much better than the first one though.

Yeah, I think FANTASTIC!! sums it up. My wife and I saw that on our anniversary, and I was glued to the edge of my seat thoughout.

John Goodman is so good, man, but I couldn't help but picture him as Walter from The Big Lebowski a couple of times!

WORST. PALADIN. EVER.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?

Watched Batman Vs. Superman (and then just now Man of Steele again which I highly recommend seeing right before the new movie as a refresher). I had medium expectations for the new movie and it exceeded them. It was better than Man of Steel and most of the Marvel movies, but that is because I prefer LESS action and a slower moving story-line, although it did jump too quickly and did not have a good explanation in Batman going after Superman, and not to spoil too much but also quickly switching sides. It was also nowhere near the gravitas of the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy or even the Captain America movies. However, my biggest gripes are that Batman did not show any detective work and used too many guns, but Lex Luther and D******* made good villains, and both Superman and Wonder Woman were good, and it laid the foundations of a decent JLA.

Saw Batman v Superman over the weekend. It was pretty darn good and promising most of the film, but the third act turned into complete shlock. I can see why critics wouldn't like it--it has plenty of plot holes that would bother them a heck of a lot more than most moviegoers.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?

Batman totally did detective work in that movie! More than he does in most.

And some people's "plot holes" are my "letting you fill in the gaps with reasonable logical leaps rather than spoon feeding you everything." Lex, for instance, is the smartest guy in the world - he's going to be able to figure some things out, whether we see him doing it or not.

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

BvS was okay. I do think fans should be allowed to get a Cease and Desist order against Zack Snyder though. Frank Miller is rainbows and unicorns compared to that guy.
