570 Points, No Start Zone Limit
Well I'm having a game night soon and we are using 570 point, no start zone limits. I am thinking about running this army:
6x Stingers (360/360) 5x Deathreavers (200/560) Isamu (10/570) What do you guys think? |

Annoying as heck is what I would call that. Another good one might be:

Good army!

There are armies that are actually more fun with slightly larger start zones:
Houndsx5 - 450 Kaemon Awa - 570, 31 hexes. Kato - 200 Ashigaru Harquebus x4 - 440 Ashigaru Yari x3 - 560 Isamu - 570, 30 hexes. Krug - 120 Mimring - 270 Swogx2 - 320 Arrow gruts x6 - 560 Isamu - 570, 27 hexes. -- I think knights would have reasonable time against the drone/stinger/hive army. Gilbert - 105 knightsx6 - 525 Eldgrim - 555 Isamu - 565, 27 hexes. -- That rat army is horrible, but you would slaughter the guy. I don't always use custom units, but when I do I use Sherman Davies Marvel customs. |

I usually do you can draft 250point worth of each (un)common hero/squad (with a min of 3) and no start zone limit.
65+ = max 3 55-60 = max 4 45-50 = max 5 40 = max 6 35 = max 7 30 = max 8 25 = max 10 20 = max 12 Other than the rats, this helps keep out massive amounts of overpowered squads but still allows for big armies of things like zombies, romans, Ashigaru, and double-spaced commons.
