All the way up to Wave 4(Including the Large Boxes) is done. Wave 5 almost done.

Once again thanks for all the hard work you guys are putting into this project. But can you be a bit more specific about this upcoming release? Are you going to be releasing waves 2, 3 and 4 together? Are you waiting for wave 5 to be completed before doing so? Can you elaborate at all on your plans?

Concerning our plans, they are simple :
- To go faster, we decided to make only one model per squad. Some of the squads released today have all their models, others only have on model repeated for each squad member. This really speed up the process. - We plan to first release every classic army card. We will probably then do C3V & SoV after that. - We also plan to complete the squads so that each model is there, once we'd have finished all army cards. - We do not have plan, for now, for others customs projects like HoSS and C3G, mainly because the main forces behind the process currently do not play with those customs and do not own the figures to take photo. - We welcome any help ! It is a really tedious task, and we are few. We currently have one main person for photos (Thanks a LOT, @Kinseth ), one for blender (same to you, @SlipperySlope ), and one for integration (good job, @awesomeunleashed !). If any one of those three guy want to take a well earned break, the progress of this project will become again really slow. Our chain of supply, as you see, is really thin. If you want to contribute, what we need the most are capturing models and turning them to 3D object. It is done with a free software, 123 Catch. One "only" need to take multiple photo (around 30) of a model and upload them to get a 3D model... if one got the lightning and the focus good. And even our expert Kinseth sometime have problem getting a good models. With more people, it could become a more pleasant task ! If you try 123 Catch and get good results, don't hesitate to post them here ! Wave 4 and 5 are nearly done, so it would be best if people wanting to try do it with models from MS2, or waves 8 or later. The golden opportunity would be to get our hands on a 3D scanner. If anyone has access to one, he would be the savior ! Let's make this project become a reality ! |

Wave 4 has passed the two first phase : photo and blender. It still need integration into a .hsd, and some testing. But yeah, we should be able to release it soon.

I'm going back to college in two weeks and I believe students have free access to a 3D scanner on campus. I can check around when I get there to see what the deal with that is. Do the scans have to be any specific file type?
