Like I was telling GP on skype earlier:

he is usually fighting hand to wing - not sniping with razor feathers

no ranged attack, but instead, give him a useful and tactful fly over maneuver that deals damage from above (range) to multiple targets - that feels more like Arch Angel to me

I would like to see this rewrite on GP's latest version of Avenging Angel:

AVENGING ANGEL
After Archangel or any figure you control within 3 clear sight spaces of Archangel rolls defense dice against a normal attack, you may immediately fly up to 6 spaces with Archangel. After moving with the Flying special power, if Archangel passed over any enemy figures you may roll the 20-sided die, one at a time, for each enemy figure he passed over. If you roll 12 or higher, the affected figure receives one wound.

That should let him target multiples, as well as encourage him to stick nearby enemy figures. Also, after some more thought, I prefer range 4 to 5. 5 is too close to medium range - feather darts should be short range.

I'd rather a range of 2-3 for shooting darts like this.

I'd be OK with range 3 also. Not range 2, though, as it seems like the theme would be too confusing.

Actually had really busy weekend. My sister had a baby shower, (she will be having a new little 'scaper in August.) My nephew and I are already talking about him joining us for Heroscape. LOL Also, my truck broke down on Sunday, so my day consisted of trying to figure out what the frag was wrong with it and then having it towed somewhere that would work on it first thing this morning. :sigh: Long weekend.

HEAL OR HARM
If Archangel wounds an opposing character with his normal attack he may choose to either deal them an additional wound or he may either remove one wound from his card or the card of an adjacent friendly Mutant.

STEALTH FLYING
When Archangel starts to fly, if he is engaged, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

Replace Heal or Harm with Healing Factor, and I think we're close. 12 might be a tad low on Avenging Angel.

I'd go with 14 or 15 at a minimum.
