That looks so simple a novice like me might be able to do it. In fact, I think I will.

I'd say Leif Kicker pushes out 'Perfect' if you call what Hasbro has given us 'Good.' But that's jsut my opinion.

I'm sure Leif himself would say that his work isn't perfect either. Whenever you make a custom piece of terrain, no matter how phenominal it looks there is always something you wish you could do better or something more you wanted to do with it but was unable to achieve.
Thanks for the kind words but as Onacara said None of my pieces are perfect. There are flaws in every piece I have ever made. You may not notice them but having spent hours sculpting every little detail I know where I got lazy and skipped and I know where I botched something and covered it up.

As far as the plants go I think the fit the heroscape theme very nice. And they are cheap to boot.

In fact, I did today. I'll post pictures at the beginning of next week when I have access to a digital camera. I owe credit to both Talyn and chuynn, thanks guys!

So i figured out a cleaner way to do these than just hot gluing like i did before. I kept the connector pieces that held the original bases together, cut them in half, oushed them thriough drilled holes in the hex, and the trees pop on nice and tight, and it also allows you to switch them out for different types of plants! I redid my swamp plants with the darker ones and I think it looks alot better.

Very good, I like them better that way!

Yeah, to answer you from earlier, that's how I did mine, more or less.
The plants I used were the tall ones, and I cut them into shorter lengths to make my swamp bushes.

I just drilled a 3/16" hole in the center of the hex, and then shoved 3 pieces of the plant through the hole.
Some of them stems (the bottom parts,) had these connector loops I could squeeze enough to get through the hole, and then I'd push the stems of the next two through until the hole is just stuffed tight, and they stay in place.

I also tried a bit of Superglue, but I found I didn't even really need it, but it would make it more permanent.
