Epic NJ Tournament
1st Epic NJ Tournament
Finally, my brother and I will be hosting our own tournament! We hope you can all make it! Date: March 5th. Setup at 11:45. Games will begin at 12:30. Location: Mountain Ridge Bible Chapel, 763 Mountain Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ Rules: The tournament is going to be a straight up, kill 'em all tournament. 500 points. Partial card scoring. Round are going to be 50 minutes. 5 rounds. No Marvel. Like Clancampbell, my brother hates glyphs, so there will be no glyphs. People will be paired randomly on a random map in the 1st round. Any questions, just post. Fee/Prizes: $5 Food: There isn't many places to eat close to our church so you'll need to bring your own food, but there is a fridge to keep things cold, and a microwave to warm up food. Plenty of space to eat, but you need to clean up after yourself. And, in theory, you could order pizza and have it delivered. Maps: Invasion

I'm glad to see that the Epic-Guanaco Brothers have finally got it together enough to run their own tournment; and I am especially delighted to see it being held in my own Garden State. By the way: what exit is Berkeley Heights? Unless I roll the blank side of the d6 (Xanth will verify that's it's a 16.667% chance), I will be there to support this event. So... until I check with Mrs. G. and look at my calendar - put me down as a Possible Attendee and I'll get back to you with confirmation as the date draws closer. I will most likely be able to also bring a BoV map or two, and hopefully coerce a few fellow Jersian friends to join us as my guests.

Northgate, how far is this place from game time hobbies??? Put me down as a maybe. Ill confirm closer to the date.

Glad to see you and your brother taking the tournament director plunge, TheEpicLlama! Please put me down as a maybe at this point. I will know for certain if I can make it closer to the date. Since you are so close to New York, it might make sense to "advertise" your tournament in one of their threads as well as the Eastern PA, NJ, MD thread.
Man, why ya'll hate'en on the glyphs so much?
