ScapeCon II Events
POST IN THE SCAPECON II EVENT SIGN-UP THREAD TO SIGN UP FOR HEROSCAPE EVENTS NOTE: All events are Official Classic Scape ONLY (no Marvel, no customs of any kind), UNLESS the event description provides otherwise. NOTE 2: If an event says 16 Players, then only up to 16 people may play in that event. To sign up, post in the ScapeCon II Event Sign-Up thread (once you have paid your entire badge price). NOTE 3: All times are EASTERN. Wednesday Afternoon 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM; DINNER BREAK 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM; 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM Multiplayer Madness 290 Points, 14 Figures 4 Rounds, 85-Minute Rounds Games are free-for-all featuring three or four players. We will use maps specifically designed for three and four players. Multiplayer scoring as follows: Track the partial card scoring damage you do to opponents' units throughout the game (always rounding down). At the end of the game, the players are ranked in order of damage done. The tournament points are awarded as follows: 4-player table: 4, 2, 1, 0. 3-player table: 4, 2, 0. At the end of the 4-round event, add up all your placing scores to get your tournament score. In the event of a tie, the player with the greater total damage done wins (so please keep a record of how much damage you did each game). BREAKFAST 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM Thursday Morning 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Good Ol’ Days A and Under 440 Points, 16 Figures Only figures rated A and under in OEAO’s Power Rankings are allowed (banned units: Deathreavers, Major Q9, Marro Warriors, Raelin RotV). 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds Everyone must bring a $15-20 prize. At the end of the tourney, everyone will receive a prize (picking among those brought plus the two top prizes). Please make the prize you bring something that people will want. Singleton A and Under 16 Players FULL 460 Points, 20 Figures Your army may not include more than one (1) copy of any army card. Only figures rated A and under in OEAO’s Power Rankings are allowed (banned units: Deathreavers, Major Q9, Marro Warriors, Raelin RotV). 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds VC Quad Pod 16 Players Bring four (4) pods. EACH POD: 200-230 Points, 10 Figures No figures may be used in more than one pod. VC Units Allowed 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds Before the game, the two players roll the D20; high roll chooses to be Player A or Player B. Player A selects one of the 8 pods to play. Player B then selects two of the remaining 7 pods to play. Player A then selects one of the remaining 5 pods to play. LUNCH 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Thursday Afternoon 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM VCheese Swiss 530 Points, 24 Hexes VC Units Allowed 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds All players who finish 3-1 or better will advance to the VCheese Top Cut. Control Points (Rule of 9 A and Under) 16 Players 420 Points, 20 Figures Rule of 9: You may not field more than nine (9) of any given figure. Only figures rated A and under in OEAO’s Power Rankings are allowed (banned units: Deathreavers, Major Q9, Marro Warriors, Raelin RotV). 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds Alternate victory condition: Be the first player to reach 6 Victory Points. If both players end a round tied, then play another round (and continue until the tie is broken). Each map will have two control points (towards the center of the map). At the end of the round, if you have more army cards within two spaces of a control point than your opponent, then you score Victory Points equal to the round number. Repeat this process for the other control point. Example: At the end of Round 3, Player A has 5 Knights of Weston, Arkmer, and 3 Goblin Cutters within 2 spaces of a control point. Player B has Moltenclaw, Mimring, and Otonashi within 2 spaces of that same control point. Player A has 4 army cards within range (2 cards of Knights, Arkmer, and 1 card of Goblin Cutters), whereas Player B has 3 army cards within range (Moltenclaw, Mimring, and Otonashi). Player A would score 3 Victory Points for that control point. They would repeat this process for the other control point. Mixed Marvel Mastermind 16 Players 420 Points, 9 Figures Official Marvel Units Allowed All players must bring Red Skull with their army. Red Skull does not count against the point or figure limit. 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds DINNER 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday Evening 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM VCheese Top Cut Variable Number of Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds Players bring the same army they brought to the VCheese Swiss. After seeing all armies brought to the game, each team will secretly confer and each player will choose one of their own two armies that they want to play that game (both teams reveal what armies they're playing simultaneously). For example, in Round 1, all pairings will be randomized. In Round 2, 1-0 players will be paired with 0-1 players. In Round 3, 2-0 players will be paired with 0-2 players, and 1-1 players will be paired with other 1-1 players. The top two players will be the players with the best record at the end. General Wars Alliances Swiss 350/140 Points, 20 Figures Your army may contain up to 350 points of one general and 140 points of any one other general. Valkrill is not considered to be a general for this event (the Valkrill units are considered general-less, and may be brought alongside any one other general’s units). 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds Your general is determined based on the general of the primary component of your army. The top player of each general will advance to the General Wars Top Cut. Examples: A viable Jandar army could be: 2x Templar Cavalry, Sgt. Drake RotV, 2x Phantom Knights. Another viable Jandar army could be: 2x Templar Cavalry, Airborne Elite, 2x Death Knights of Valkrill, Marcu. A third viable Jandar army could be: 2x Templar Cavalry, 2x Death Chasers, Frost Giant of Morh. CANCELLED VC Bring 2 (Strike 1 Variant) Bring two (2) armies. EACH ARMY: 410 Points, 18 Figures No figures may be used in more than one army. VC Units Allowed 4 Rounds, 55-Minute Rounds Before the game, the two players roll the D20; high roll chooses to be Player A or Player B. Player A either strikes one army (removing it from the pool of available armies for that game) or selects an army to play. Player B selects one of the remaining armies to play. If Player A did not already select an army, then they select one of the remaining two armies to play. DINNER 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Saturday Evening 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM General Wars Top Cut (Top 6) Top 6 is single elimination. The byes will be randomly given to the two players with the best records. BREAKFAST 7:30 AM- 8:30 AM Sunday Morning 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Three-Headed Hydra B+ and Under Team Tournament EACH PLAYER: 425 Points, 16 Figures No figures may be used in more than one army. Only figures rated B+ and under in OEAO’s Power Rankings are allowed. 4 Rounds, 70-Minute Rounds Players compete in teams of three. Each round, your team will be paired against another team. The two teams will play three 1v1 games simultaneously; the team that wins 2 out of the 3 games gets the win for the round. The Pairing Process: The two teams will be assigned three maps to play on. One player from each team rolls the D20; high roll chooses to be Team A or Team B. Team A chooses one player from Team B that cannot play one person from Team A. Following that one constraint, Team B then chooses all three matchups. Finally, Team A chooses which map each matchup will be played on. List of B+ and Under Units: Note: if there is a discrepancy between this list and my ratings linked above, my ratings are correct. Please let me know if you find any such discrepancy.

Re: ScapeCon II Events
Clarified General Wars. You essentially have 490 points split between two generals: 350 of one, 140 of the other.

Re: ScapeCon II Events
Shifting Alliances does not have the "No figures may be used in more than one army" clause. Is that intended?

Re: ScapeCon II Events
For General Wars, what general am I categorized under if I brought something like the following:
Mezzos x5 Kyntela Gwyn Othkurik Am I Ullar since the Mezzos are counting as Ullar in the 350 pt total? Or Utgar since I have more points of Utgar than Ullar? Mid-Atlantic Regional Scapers (MARS) MARS D.C. - latest tourney "Enjoy every sandwich."

Re: ScapeCon II Events
Hilariously, that’s an Ullar army, as you’re treating the Mezzos as Ullar!
