What Goes Into Playtesting?
I couldn't find a thread specifically about this, though it seems like the topic has been touched on briefly before.
Since we have some official Heroscape playtesters hanging out around here, I was wondering if we could could get more details as to what goes into playtesting. How many hours do you playtest each unit? Are there particular armies you always pit new units against? Is there a standard set of scenarios you run them through? What point-range of armies do you typically work within? Do you draft mostly, or use pre-made armies? Or is it all a lot more free-wheeling than that-- like the typical pick-up games we all have at home? I don't know if you're even allowed to talk about this sort of thing, but I figure since I'm not asking for information about specific units or what-not, that maybe you could give us some insight. |
