Can range in a special attack be boosted at all?

Special Attacks may NEVER be modified by ANY glyphs, specials powers, height advantage, etc... This applies to both range and the number of attack dice rolled. You do exactly what is listed on the card.

No. Special Attacks cannot be modified by height bonus, glyphs, or any other bonuses.

so...if you use a special attack and have height advantage over someone your attacking, you dont get that extra attackdie?
