Rumble in the Jungle!!!

Well I've spent the last 4 hours opening jungle and large hero packs. (damn what were they thinking when they packaged thoese trees.) So if anyone is up for it tomorrow evening we can have our rumble in the jungle... 1 Mega Map, 600 point armies, unlimited starting hexes, # of players ????.

Fair warning the place will probably be a mess as unpacking 10 sets of jungle really takes it out of ya. oh well on to the figures....

If we can go with the ProSpecT plan, I think that would work best for me. Sadly, I think tomorrow may be too short notice for Scapage

Dang, that sounds awesome, Omega.

I ended up building a few of Soul Shackle's maps with my son, setting up tons of figures, etc., then playing a great game with my daughter.

And then I had to tear it all down because of guests for Father's Day tomorrow. Sigh...

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

My son(age 6) was playing FRAG last friday.
With a little help from me (not playing just consulting) he came in 2nd with three frags. Including 2 in one round.

I'm so proud.

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

It was when Lil' Rock started taking individual HS models to school that I knew I had him hooked.

I also came home recently and he and his buddy were playing and they had EVERY piece of terrain on the kitchen table playing a game......It was so cool.

Until his Mom made us clean it all up....

Then it wasn't so cool.

My little brother makes maps that I would never think of EVER! I thought I still had an imagination... psh

I bet Lil' Rock and friend made a map that look like an ice sculpt.

Also, Finrod check your PM's.

I come home to find that sometimes... but my son just enjoys playing with it all. At six, I can't get him interested in playing the actual game...

I did. There's nothing there. Is this some kind of trick? What'd you do while I had my back turned checking my PMs??

::looks suspiciously at ProSpecT::

EDIT: Okay, NOW there's something there... sneaky...

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

Yeah, Lil'Rock only plays a real game when I make sure of it. For him, I've found that Marvel is a much better primer.

He's pretty good and I help him with strategery.
