The summary is that they're using them as interlocking display bases for action figures. They are slightly smaller in scale and don't work with any Heroscape products.

Check out Hyground 3d terrain tiles. (www.hygroundtiles.com) They are launching a kickstarter in 3 weeks. They have reinvented the Heroscape game board. They have re-designed the hex's so that there will be no problems with copyrights and patents. The board game can bridge to the old heroscape tiles too!

Chas They snap together similar to legos! They come in configurations of 1, 2, 4, 6 and so on. Just like heroscape does but they snap together on top of each other. They have some examples of snapping the board together on their facebook page and instagram if you want to check it out!

I love how one of the guys who is in the team posted that his favorite game is Heroscape. Nice reference there.
