Re: The Book of Ravager (Rose Wilson) (Public Playtesting)
Toyhandle's tests. I know he ran more that he didn't write-up but still some good information. I think we are narrowing in on cost but it's not fully settled yet. Seems to be leaning 200 though.

Spoiler Alert!
Game Summary: Static was a great counter against Ravager. He only has to be within her Precognitive/Attack range of 4 to Static Cling her, which cripples her ability to use Flanking Strike. After that, he can attack safely 5 spaces away, which he did to destroy her. It also holds her in place for stationary knock back damage. Before she was destroyed, her Flanking Strike on Changeling whiffed, and her defense whiffed once, but Precognative calculations prevented two wounds, and inflicted two wounds a second time. Her fragility was useful to Starfire, who was able to utilize Ravager’s wounds for enough attacks on Changeling to inflict 4 wounds.

Spoiler Alert!
Game Summary: Miss Martian had two lucky throws and two lucky attacks in Round 1, which destroyed Jean and immediately put the X-Men on the defensive. The combined efforts of Miss Martian and Raven allowed Ravager to put the final blow on Angel, another huge blow to the X-Men. Ravager went on to wound Beast and destroy Iceman. Combat dexterity was instrumental in placing those wounds. Precognitive Calculations saved her from a wound, and Flanking Strike allowed her to reposition for a heal from Raven, which wounded Prof X. She really needed that blank from before, and the heal, because Cyclops’ second attack would have destroyed Ravager. Raven was able to heal Ravager twice more, using one wound to put on Prof X. After that, Flanking Strike destroyed Prof X. Ravager was back to full health by the end of the game thanks to Raven, who destroyed Cyclops.

Spoiler Alert!
Game Summary: Ravager didn’t come into play until late in the game, although Flanking Strike allowed her to be in the X-Men’s Start Zone by the end of the game. After Nightwing’s death, she came in handy for Starfire as backup, by using Flanking first to not trigger Angel’s Guardian Ange, and the next round to roll unblockables against him, which put 1 wound on Prof X. It was then used to put 1 wound on Ravager. Angel attacking Ravager allowed an interesting use of Precognitive Calculations, where I determined using the 1 blank on a whiff against two skulls, it was better to take the two wounds and inflict the 1 unblockable. Next round, Flanking strike whiffed after that, but Starfire was able to inflict the killing blow in the next turn.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
She fits nicely into different Titans builds, who all have similar costs. Somewhat easy to kill, but factoring Precognitive Calculations after rolling Defense Dice allows fun decision making. Her fragility is useful to Starfire and Raven, and Flanking is useful for getting extra movement/potential unbockables on Titans GO!. She meshed well with all these figures’ abilities, but of the team, felt most likely to die.
Game 1 she died, Game 2 came very near death, but was fully revived by the end. Game 3 she was at half life.
GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT:
Very cool how many tools are in her toolbelt. She requires a bit of a learning curve, but has a ton of potential. Her range of 4 is not great, but two attacks of base 4, and Move of 6 is.
Her stats and abilities are right where they need to be. Cost should be no more than 200, but possibly brought down to 190. However, there are more builds of hers that I haven’t tried that she might be better in, and her team also won all three games, so 200 might just be spot on.
She never had any huge blows, but small wounds amounted to big kills, leading to the deaths of Angel, Iceman and Prof X in game 2.
Game 1 she was the weak link, and game 3 she was useful right at the end against the defensive abilities of Prof X and Angel.
Re: The Book of Ravager (Rose Wilson) (Public Playtesting)
C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Ravager (Rose) @200 points
Army Test
Map: Custom
Units: Ravager @200, Nightwing (I), Raven, Starfire (800) vs Cyclops (I), Jean Grey, Jubilee, Wild Child, Yukio, Angel (Warren) (800)
Spoiler Alert!
Ravager saw a lot of action in this one and got a fair number of wounds in - the X-Men had some rough luck on their attack rolls. They managed to bring Starfire down real fast at the start, but then evened out by getting nothing else done for a long time. Jubilee had a really bizarre game in that she stuck around for a very long time and got a lot of attacks in, but did very little damage. Ravager kept attacking her, but Jubilee kept pulling 3-4 shield defense rolls. Meanwhile Jubilee's big blasts that caught multiple Titans never did crap.
Ravager kept not rolling blanks on defense, though - she got a grand total of one all game (which turned into a wound on Jubilee). Eventually her offensive luck turned and she racked up a bunch of damage in the endgame, securing a Titans victory. Cyclops at least managed to down Nightwing and make the X-Men look respectable, but it was pretty lop-sided toward the end.
Ravager took out Yukio by dealing 2 wounds across 3 attacks. Swung at Angel once and Jubilee four times but it didn't do her any good - some crazy defense rolls in there. Got a Precog wound in on Jubilee, then finally had a productive turn attacking her and brought her down in 2 attacks. Took out Angel with 1 Flanking Strike wound and then a big attack. Put 3 wounds on Cyclops and teed him up for Raven to auto-destroy at the start of the next round.
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes):
Raven with 4 Life, Ravager with 3 Life
Army Test
Map: Custom
Units: Ravager @200, Nightwing (I), Raven, Starfire (800) vs Atlas, Songbird, Spider-Man, Ragdoll (800)
Spoiler Alert!
Ravager dealt 2 wounds to Ragdoll and used Flanking Strike to get the last hit in on Atlas and finish him off. Mostly this one came down to a big initiative swing sextuple turn, though. Starfire and Raven managed to clean up pretty well during that, and Ravager was never a big focus.
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes):
Ravager with full Life, Starfire with 2 Life, Nightwing with 2 Life
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think she could get away with 200 but might want a small bump for safety. Two wins, but luck was weird in the first one, and she barely had a part in the second. Flexible bargain short-range fighter, and I do love to see Flanking Strike re-used.
Re: The Book of Ravager (Rose Wilson) (Public Playtesting)
Looking over the results she went 0-3 in the Initial @210 and 7-0 @200. All games were relatively close and all testers felt she was pretty balanced and useful.
I'm going to err on the side of caution. I propose we move to Final Editing @210

yea
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Her wins without the full accompaniment of Nightwing, Starfire, and Raven were extremely close. I feel it's more a point of that team just being really strong and less of her being the reason. I too pushed for the bump to 210 but I didn't think she was to crazy.
I'm also having her thrown in to a test with Deathstroke as well just to see if she makes it too out of hand. So it's something being watched if that is of any comfort to you.
