You must be quick on the draw. I didnt see any of them even though this is one of my favorite threads to visit. I should be getting those figures out for you here in a day or so. Been busy last week but should be able to find a suitable box and get them sent. I know you play gaslands, did you ever get any of the 3d printed car assessories? My printer is sitting idle for a minute if you want an assortment of them sent with the minis. Im sure those wont take up much extra room.

I've been wanting to get it back to the table lately, and found some of the latest supplement books on a great deal on amazon so I picked up:
-Frostgrave: The Wizard's Conclave
-Frostgrave GA: Gods of Fire
-Frostgrave GA: Cities of Bronze
I believe that gets me caught up with all the supplements for the two of them. What I'm gearing towards is being able to run through the scenarios in all the books in order. That should be a fun campaign to run. I've got pretty much all the terrain, and all the minis to do it in style. Now I just got to set aside the time.

Yeah we did print a few weapons. It was pretty cool. About 75% of my printing was for Gaslands weapons or terrain. I added magnets so I can swap weapons and terrain on the map. I haven’t found the best setting for printing wheels yet though but my printer hasn’t been set back up yet. Most of my floors were done this weekend so we hope to start painting walls this coming weekend and the. I can start setting our house back together.

As I was downloading all print files for gaslands I was thinking how fun it would be to modify a bunch of hotwheels cars. It would just be another game I dont have time to play with more pieces at a different scale. Id then happily print a mountain of terrain for it but have no where to put it. I talked my self down by buying more frostgrave/GA supplement books. Ive finished printing a handful of Rancors all based for legion. I printed out an assortment of horns and tusks and modified 3 of the 5 new ones I have. They go from regular rancor, to bull rancor, to mutant rancor. 1 is one of the 2 I already printed and painted giving the second one to Biggabullfrog, the other 4 are all primed and based. Im doing them in a bunch of different colors. So far they look great.

I had screen shotted the username profile of Payday Loans that I saw at the bottom of this thread after seeing @japes mention spam. I sent it to @IAmBatman so hopefully he can do his vigilante work on it.

I have converted 1 Hot Wheel car fully, and have some partially converted but not painted yet. I also have some weapons for the cars that I ordered off Etsy, but haven't added them yet. Unfortunately, after jumping the gun and ordering the rules, dice and templates for Gaslands, I haven't gotten a chance to play it. Just too many other things that I've been working on. Maybe one day.

That's cool @TREX that you got more Frostgrave supplements. I have Wizards Conclave and another recent one that seem neat. The one has updated rules for some minor things. I can't wait to get the Perilous Dark supplement for solo and co-op play. I'm thinking it may be done similarly to Rangers of Shadow Deep, so that will be cool. I'm looking forward to playing Frostgrave again and using spells, where it will be against monsters instead of other wizard bands. I would think it would be simple enough to convert to Ghost Archipelago as well.

I've been working hard on finishing my Warsenal terrain over the past few weeks and will post some pictures of it within the next few days.

@Hahma , does the perilous dark manual have rules to turn all the supplements into solo or just for scenarios for that book? I saw it too when I bought the other three but I seen it didnt come out til the end of october.

The designer says "No - or to put specifically - it doesn't give you rules for taking any given scenario and playing it solo. You can play the 10 scenarios in the book straight out of the box, but otherwise, you'll have to do some work getting them set-up. Hopefully, the rest of the book will help you do that."

Awesome. Im part of that facebook group but havent been following it as closely lately due to my heavy time investment in star wars legion and the walking dead all out war. Now that all my legion minis are painted. (Except my new shoretroopers and tauntaun riders) and my walking dead minis are painted as well as all my terrain done, Ive decided to dive into any of my solo games and play all the scenarios. If the new book sets a decent precedent for the opposition in the new scenarios it shouldnt be too hard to tweak the other scenarios. Cant wait. It should be fun to start a new warband and start running through them.

The solo rules don't have you go against another warband, as Joe said it would be too difficult to create an AI for all the possible spells an opposing wizard would choose to use and when. So I'm guessing it will be like Rangers of Shadow Deep where you will be having scenarios and campaign that has creatures as predetermined enemies on the table from the start, but also as part of new enemies that could appear at times. So maybe there will be a use of playing cards and chart of possible events/and monster spawning like with Rangers.

I believe there is also rules in there for random dungeon setup. I know that for one scenario for Rangers, there was the first floor of a tower you had to deal with and it had 3 rooms. In the scenario setup, there is a small chart with 4 possible room setups listed, including enemies and special rules for each room. You would have 4 playing cards you shuffle up and draw one upon entering a door. Then you setup that room according to the room setup on the chart corresponding to the card you drew. So maybe the dungeon setup rules will be similar? We'll see.

One thing will interesting will be the XP rewards for doing various things. In Rangers, the creatures each have an XP value, but you also get XP'S for various other things you accomplish during a scenario.

@Hahma , that is pretty interesting. I think the maze of malcor book had some alternate xp stuff for monsters but its been awhile since I read the manual. Ill have to give it another look. I just looked in my phone quick memo and it seems I have a couple of specific terrain pieces not built yet. I like excuses to build more terrain. If I play ghost archipelago any time soon it will give me an excuse to bump the 40 snakemen I have up the painting que. They are already primed. I havent picked up rangers of shadow deep yet, what are some examples of the monster xp reward values? I will most likely buy all the rangers books eventually but am curious to know how I can make it work for frostgrave and GA scenarios for the time being. Next question, how many of you have played frostgrave or GA on a 3x6 table? im really wanting to see how it would go since I have a double grassland mat.

I finished the barracks building from my Warsenel terrain set.









Here are a few of the many different layout options I can use with the whole set. Minis can be placed inside of each of the buildings (upper and lower barracks and lower part of the bunkers), but I didn't do it here for time sake and being able to easily move stuff around.

@Hahma , that terrain is so sweet. I like the bigger green buildings with the playable interiors, but love the suspended walkways with that middle connecting piece. Great job on them. Those would actually work pretty cool for the walking dead if you used them in a kind of prison themed set up. Ive been debating getting a few more walking dead sets. The made to suffer one for Woodbury looks neat and I could use my Brian Blake figure from a previous set. What I like about the bigger expansions are the extras like new scenarios and other added rules for different things. What Id like to do with frostgrave is find a way to do all the missions solo and run a warband through it. It might be easy to place some monsters in the scenarios that just run towards the closest objectives and try to take them off the board. They would also attack the closest warband members as a secondary objective. Any monsters on the table could either work with the enemy warband or treat them as hostile. Using Maze of malcor rules I think you could just do a random roll of what kind of monsters would be the opposing warband. You could give them a captain type that allows group activations. It sounds like Ive figured it out while brainstorming. I believe Ill have to try it out now when I get a chance.
