Alright I am slowing down now. I got a few pm's from people trying to avoid what I was bidding on out of courtesy. That is what I love about this community. Thanks for looking out everyone. I ended up snagging the Incendiborgs, Kira Jax, Kursus, Quahon, Zaeus, Racheim, Elaria, Martial La Hire, Arashara, and many others. It's nice to be back in the C3V halls.

So I went to my local FedEx/Kinkos to print up some C3V/SoV cards as I have done several times before, but this time the front desk guy called in his manager who googled 'Heroscape' and then told me they won't print the cards because of copyright rules. Was there anything I could've said in reply to that? Right now, my plan is just to go to a different shop and hope they don't say the same thing.

Yeah, Kinkos and Office Max both lost my business years ago by not letting me print C3G cards anymore due to superhero licenses. Haven't really printed since.

Here's the official FAQ/statement from Hasbro, as adopted by WotC (link to the source thread):

Question: What are "Custom" Heroscape figures and terrain?

Answer: HEROSCAPE has a large fan base that enjoys creating custom additions to the established universe.

Custom additions are figures and terrain that are not created or distributed by Hasbro. We do not support or suggest using custom figures on our official HEROSCAPE battlefields, and we never include them in official scenarios and battlefields. Custom additions may not be copied from genuine Hasbro HEROSCAPE product.

The HEROSCAPE name can only be used to refer to genuine Hasbro HEROSCAPE product, it must be clear that any custom additions are not created by, distributed, or endorsed by Hasbro, and the following credit line must appear: "HEROSCAPE and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro. © 2006 Hasbro. All Rights Reserved."

We do not put the word "Heroscape" anywhere on our C3V or SoV cards, in an attempt to follow this guideline. It's probably their right to refuse to print, but perhaps this statement would sway a store owner.

I’ve printed, conservatively, over a hundred cards at a local independent printing place. Never had an issue. Maybe look for one of those?

Are you looking for C3V customs, or just random customs people have made?

I would guess that you didn't have anyone message you for two reasons. 1. People generally don't buy customs very often, so people who have them aren't looking in that subforum. 2. People who have customs usually don't buy more than they need, so they don't have extras, and since they are usually d&d figures, they just sell them to local game stores, or on ebay etc, where people looking for d&d figures are more likely to be. You'll have better luck if you look for a custom design you like, and then look for the figure matching it from online stores.
