There's no denying that the Lions are putrid, but there is one thing to keep in mind. The Lions originated the Thanksgiving game in 1934. There might not be Thanksgiving day football if it wasn't for the Lions coming up with the idea. Besides, it's all we have left to hang our hats on right now. Do you want Detroit to lose the Big Three and the Thanksgiving game?!?

...and they will forever get the credit for being 1st. Wow that was a bad game today. What was with the challenge flag though (by Tennessee) with three minutes left in the game?
Wait a minute... don't tell me you were actually watching the game at that point. Heck, I'm a die hard Lions fan and I gave up in the first quarter. (I know, so did the Lions. har har)

But to answer your question, you would think that at that point Jeff Fisher could have kept his challenge flag in his pocket. Or was he afraid of one of those infamous Lions comebacks?

Yeah, I was watching, everyone was in a turkey comatose at that point, but since I only ate the Italian dishes I was the only one alert.

That challenge was pretty lame IMO, though I guess I can't really complain with the way my home team ran up the score during some games last season.

God Bless those Panthers!

What a great Sunday for Vikings fans - first the Packers choke (we saw it coming though) then we WHUP up on those Bears. (Though I vastly preferred the Bears to the Packers anyday so the victory wasn't as sweet as it could be).

Pats maybe need to start thinking about the 2009 draft. Maybe a top 15 pick to improve the aging defense and get your all world QB back for next year... not bad.

That was not a good game. At all. Carolina decimates Green Bay in the first quarter and a half (maybe both quarters, I forgot). Then the Panthers D decides to take a break and let Green Bay catch up. Apart from the last few drives from the Panthers, I thought neither team played very well. At least not consistently.

Well, we're out of the playoffs. The stats say no, we're not, but my heart says yes.
