I'd cut "instead of on the battlefield" from the first power. That doesn't seem like a necessary clarification.

I like both those clarifications, personally. Should be a 'may' because he can't always do it, and I like clarifying when a figure never makes it onto the battlefield in the first place ("at the start of the game" is a bit ambiguous and sometimes means after figures are already in the SZ).

Last sentence is the easiest place to trim words. Could take it all the way down to "When the Host is destroyed, immediately replace the Host with Mister Mind."

Could we make Mental Demand look like this:

After taking a turn with the Host, you may not take turns with any other figures you control.
Seems like you can move the if there are up to the start and save the space of repeating it in each bullet.

Alright, got the wording updated with the shortened versions. Still no real idea on shortening MSM. Maybe Monster Society Schemes? Or just Monster Society of Evil? I think of Evil is a smidge shorter than Manipulations, but does lose a hair of the theme.

It visually looks almost like Kryptonian with a dash of Interlac thrown in, but it's not either of those. Are there any other big DC fictional languages?
