Re: More Marvel Heroscape? When?
Feel free. I think most of us have already moved on.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: More Marvel Heroscape? When?
Its really a shame. I was looking forward to the Punisher, and even Moon Knight. In the end, I'm too lazy to do anything C3G too. I could rebase my Heroclix Moon Knight, but hate the sculpt. And am lazy.

Your loss. C3G is worth the effort.

Also, Heroclix singles from MiniatureMarket.com, TrollandToad.com, and StrikeZoneOnline.com are inexpensive. You don't need to collect the entire set at once. Just get the figures that interest you the most. Toss a few into the online shopping cart just to see how much it will cost. Check out the variety of other customs created by this community if C3G hasn't covered the figures you want yet. Try this: download and print a few stat cards. Proxy the figures with anything in your collection. Give their abilities a test drive and see what you think. I'm pretty lazy as well. All I've had to do was buy figures (which you'd have to do anyway if Hasbro still produced them), download the cards, print, and get my Super Freak on! Just tossin' some ideas... |

Re: More Marvel Heroscape? When?
The only reasons I rebase are that I find the rebased figures more aesthetically pleasing and they fit the ladder rungs better. There's really no reason to do it other than those two.

Re: More Marvel Heroscape? When?
Yeah, rebasing makes them feel much more like Heroscape figures. And Bats is right there's really no reason to feel upset about marvelscape not coming out any more. C3G is producing quality playtested cards, and if you don't like the options there you can peruse the other customs creators, some of which are very good as well. Side note,(probably wrong thread) but I was wondering what adhesive you might be using to rebase.
I've tried several, and none I've used are really quite satisfactory for me. CORVUS |

Yeah I think the sticker may be my problem. I never thought of using
Gorilla Glue. Maybe I'll give that a shot. CORVUS |

Re: More Marvel Heroscape? When?
If you use Gorilla Glue, just remember that it foams up. You just need to keep an eye on it if you don't want the figure's feet covered in foam. Personally I use superglue, and Hamah's rebase tutorial is very good.

Re: More Marvel Heroscape? When?
I thought Gorilla glue only was for the G'nators!
Ahh, man! Sorry, I couldn't resist. Always rummaging through garage sale bins, hoping that someone is dumping their kid's Heroscape treasures. |
