Yeah I was more getting all my ideas for the design out there. Easiest way to save space would be to drop Tanaraq or drastically shorten it, as well as maybe dropping the part where she gives into the animal influence at the end of that power.

Anyone who's more familiar with her character feel free to chime in on what's probably most important to keep. Tornado may be on to something on having the Tanaraq form being a separate card.

ANIMAL TRANSFORMATION
After rolling for initiative, if there is no white Animal Marker on this card, you may place one of your Animal Markers on this card. Snowbird may only use one of the other special powers on this card while the appropriate Animal Marker is on this card. If there are no Animal Markers on this card, Snowbird gains the Flying special power. At the end of the round, if there is an Animal Marker on this card, you must roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 7 or higher, remove the Animal Marker from this card.

ARCTIC WOLF
Snowbird may add 3 to her Move number and after attacking, if there is at least one Wound Marker on the defending figure's card, you may attack the same figure one additional time.

POLAR BEAR
Snowbird may add 1 to her Defense number and when attacking, if a skull is rolled on every die, the defending figure cannot roll defense dice.

SNOW OWL
Snowbird gains the Flying special power. After moving Snowbird with the Flying special power, you may choose a figure she passed over and roll one unblockable attack die against that figure.

While the appropriate Animal Marker is on this card, you may use only one other special power on this card and Slippery Ice and Heavy Snow only count as 1 space when moving. At the end of the round, if there is an Animal Marker on this card, you must roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 7 or higher, remove the Animal Marker from this card. If there are no Animal Markers on this card, Snowbird gains the Super Strength and Flying special powers and cannot use any other special powers on this card.

POLAR BEAR POWER
Snowbird may add 2 to her Attack number, may attack any or all figures adjacent to her, and does not have to stop her movement when entering water spaces.

SNOWY OWL POWER
Snowbird cannot be targeted by non-adjacent attacks and has the Flying special power. After using the Flying special power this turn, she may add an automatic skull to her normal attack.

ARCTIC FOX POWER
Snowbird may add 2 to her Move number, can move through all figures, and is never attacked when leaving an engagement.

I realized if her transformation is optional, unlike Vixen, she needs to say she can't use the other powers. I also borrowed the die roll.

Can she only transform while on snow?

Thinking of what else could be cut. I might drop the ice/snow req for her to shapechanging. It was mostly for theme (apparently her powers didn't work unless she was in Canada), but she's very map dependent with it and I think the newer comics dropped the idea as well.

Yeah it's very limiting, I'll drop it. That was what kept her from being targeted easily though, in the clear sight bit, I'll have to mess with that.

Is she not good at transforming in the comics?
The mechanics imply she gets stuck in a form sometimes.

Furthermore, the greater the amount of time she spends as a certain animal, the stronger the impression of that animal's psyche on her personality. If she remains in one form for an extended period of time, she risks having her personality fixed as that of the animal, and therefore of never transforming back. Also, transforming from one animal to another without first changing into her base form causes her great strain. However, both of these limitations have been reduced or removed following her resurrection: she has since been shown to talk in animal form, and she transformed from a mountain lion to Wendigo with no strain at all."

So the question is how much do we care about representing these weaknesses, how workable they are, and if the original incarnation is the one we're focusing on.

The mechanics are pretty clunky.
I just fear she will not be that fun to play because switching forms is not guaranteed.
She will just stay in whatever is determined to be her best form.
Not sure though. Worth testing out for fun to see how it feels.
