Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
Mashing up a Marvel character with a DC character is fun - definitely feels like an Event Hero thing. Getting all the special powers of two cards could get really nasty. A hard 4 Life helps, but doing something like dropping Damian Wayne on Thor's card still sounds scary to me.

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
Awesome design. Definitely worried about being broken with the right combos, but there’s no easy way around that. The 4 life helps as should the high point cost of the Amalgam. That power would be perfect for an Event card too.
I’d suggest adding a pip on the first power that makes the Amalgam be considered to have the Amalgam publisher. That lets you remove the line in the 2nd power calling out the Amalgam and opens it to other Amalgam synergies down the line. |

That's a pretty good idea, Thanks!

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
Agreed. I had the same reaction to the initial version that you did.
Similarly, Darkclaw feels like it has the Wolverine aspects really well but other than being a Vigilante is a bit light on the Batman aspects, IMO. Adamantium Strike as a name feels like Batman's in there, but double attack isn't especially "Batman" and the tackle power doesn't feel all that Batman to me either. I think something more stealthy, maybe? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
Maybe something along the lines of Evasive Strike.
Strangefate looks super cool! Balancing him sounds like a real nightmare, haha |

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
Something like this sounds a little more "Batman." And then take away Tackle and just give him a simple Stealth Leap maybe.

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
Sure. Slightly closer to Black Panther + Wolverine, but that at least feels rightish for the character.
Ninja editor! C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
Evasive Strike + Healing Factor sounds like a pretty nasty combo.

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
You snuck in some changes on me!
I'd probably go regular Healing Factor over Healing Factor X and consider going 17+ on Evasive Strike, then go with a double attack effect instead of a contingent +2 attack for the Blitz (seems like he should be better at beating up a crowd of thugs than at beating up Superman). Then go like 270-300 and I'd say he's looking solid. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Probably a little too nasty really.

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop
No worries. My main thought is he shouldn't do the Wolverine thing as well as Wolverine or the Batman thing as well as Batman, but could do slightly weaker versions of both and still be pretty sweet.
