Poll: Favorite C3G design by LD: Good Pig (LD/Art)!

Lots of great designs there, very hard to narrow down. Top vote for me has to be Daredevil II for playing exactly how I'd expect Daredevil to play. It's a card with pretty unique mechanics. My second vote is tougher, but I'll give it to Amanda Waller for bringing together the Suicide Squad.

For my other vote, I'll give it to Spell Rules. I don't play with spells often but it's a fun mechanic and a great way to even out army points since spells are generally cheap.

I'm gonna go Bug & Viper and then Spell Rules.

Enchantress (II) and Amanda Waller. Megatron and the Foot were right up there in contention, though. Spell Rules are an easy pick for me in the "Other" category. (EDIT: Though I have actually gotten pretty significant mileage out of Conflict Chernobyl as well, now I think about it)

The Spell rules are one of the most impressive feats I have witnessed at C3G.

The spell rules were a really impressive endeavor, but I'm going to give a shout out to Island Plane Crash as one of the coolest and most thematic maps ever. It always makes me think of the show "Lost."

The other category is going to be way higher! My short-list of runner ups is probably Tick (so much fun), Megatron (so evocative and cool), Amanda Waller (opens up so many fun villain armies), and Batman (III) (possibly the best of the JL faction and one of my most used. Definitely enjoy his boosts more than my Superman (III) LD's).

But I'm going to have to go with:

Changeling - this guy came in off the top rope and accomplished all of the coolness Iw as trying to accomplish with multiple Beast Boy cards all in one slick package.

Daredevil (II) - Archie said it well, but I just love how brutal this guy is. He really evokes those extended fight scenes from the Marvel Netflix shows where there's no dialogue and Matty's just beating on bad guys. Go The Distance is inspired as well!

I will say that the current Public Design for Thing has a chance to be an all-timer for me as well! Good stuff!

For designs, it has to be two:

Joker Goons - I feel like people don't really ever talk about these guys, because they're probably not that great. But that's just a brilliantly executed mechanical piece, giving the Joker his own squad that feels unlike anything else in the game.

Optimus Prime - I'm not a Transformers guy, but Prime has become a staple in my testing games. When we introduce new "main characters" nowadays it's always a challenge to make them feel fresh AND feel resonant, because so much has been done with those archetypes. Prime goes to show you can still break new ground with "leadership" cards in a thematic way.

And for bonus stuff, it's obviously the spells, but I'll be brave and pick my favorite:

Temporal Inversion - Because it's such a great justification of the whole ruleset. This is kind of a niche, wonky, most unnecessary power that I would never really "waste" card space on with a unit. But as a spell, something you can tack on, and occasionally do something fun or interesting or weird with? It's awesome.

The Spell Rules obviously are a game changer

1. Amanda Waller, such cool synergy and a perfectly done card.

2. Soundwave, my favorite transformer when I was a kid. Great power set with Operation Disruption and Eject! Amazing job.

Honorable mention to Zemo. Perhaps the best Public Design ever.

That would be an interesting debate, with 102 finished Public Designs and counting (and a lot of really incredible ones in there!).

Wow, didn't realize their had been 102 public designs. That would take some time to review and come up with a favorite of mine, although I would agree that Zemo would be in the conversation for me. I really thought he might be the run away winner here, so pleasantly surprised to see the wide range of units getting some love. A few I was not expecting, it's hard to tell how much some units are getting used when all you ever look at are play test reports.

I can't seem to recall, do people vote in their own polls here?
