I don't mind the change, but have no issue with the separated phrasing we have. Might be a question of precedent though, so I'll tag @SirGalahad on his opinion there.

Well I think the original wording would let you attempt it once per game for each opponent's figure and the update makes it a solid once per game power.

That's what I thought at first, but you have to choose Hamilton's subject at the start of the game, so there would never be a chance to choose a second figure unless he can change his subject.

Ah, I realize now it was holdover language. Initially when it needed the D20 roll, the language needed to allow multiple D20 rolls but only one negation, so the consolidated language should work just fine.
