Re: The Book of Cardboard Box (VOTE for Initial)
HIDING SPOT
Medium figures may enter and occupy this Cardboard Box. If a figure occupying this Cardboard Box is targeted for an attack or special power, the player who controls that figure may choose to make the Cardboard Box Full Cover until the end of that current player's turn. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Cardboard Box (VOTE for Initial)
Doing it when targeted is weird cause you already know someone’s there. I’d make it something you have to do after moving the box and then while it’s full cover you can’t sneak it forward. Seems more thematic that way.

HIDING SPOT 14
Medium figures may enter and occupy this Cardboard Box. If a figure occupying this Cardboard Box is targeted for an attack or special power, the player who controls that figure may roll the 20-sided die. On a roll of 14 or higher, that figure cannot be targeted for attacks or special powers for the rest of this player turn., this vehicle is considered to have Full Cover and you cannot use the Advanced Infiltration Technology special power until you reveal an Order Marker on the Driver's Army Card. Something like that makes a lot of sense to me. |

Re: The Book of Cardboard Box (Initial)
Should it be a VDO? I don't have a problem with it, just thought the whole point of updating the DO rules was so that this thing, the porta-potty, and future designs didn't have to be VDOs.
Move number was a mistake, edited it out. |

Re: The Book of Cardboard Box (Initial)
I don't see any need for a Pilot to move this faster. DO seems fine.

Re: The Book of Cardboard Box (Initial)
Ok, I see what you are going for now. Makes much more sense. I didn't really have this in mind when I proposed the updated rules but what you have there works.
The whole Move Number + Stealthy Sneaking thing was throwing me off before. |

Re: The Book of Cardboard Box (Initial)
I think that the rules support DOs moving - you can at least move them, manually, as long as they have a size, with powers that move things. And obviously we know that VDOs move. I agree it's intuitive enough to work (if it doesn't break anything).
