Everything looks good to me. I know the intent here, but I could see how this them is referring to the Order Markers you place not the figure.

Something is wrong here and I'm going to probably do a bad job of pretending to be a word guy but here goes...

ASSASSIN'S MARK
When this Talon attacks an enemy figure, if that figure is engaged with one or more Assassins, this Talon subtracts 1 from the defending figure's defense dice.

I believe that's closer to standard.

Interesting. So other than the Court of Owls (obviously) they pair well with the Hand Ninja, Elite League Assassins/Man-Bat Assassins, Hush (ish), and anyone who can make it hard for enemy figures to see, or even lay out LOS blockers, like Floronic Man.

Lotta Batman villains lining up with them in synergies, which is cool.

Admittedly, if they’re technically undead or not is a bit of a grey area. But they definitely evoke some undead tropes.
