When counting spaces for Superman’s movement, ignore elevations. Superman may fly over water without stopping, pass over figures without becoming engaged, and fly over obstacles such as ruins. When Superman starts to fly, if he is engaged he will take any leaving engagement attacks.

I like this version of Superman better than the initial one. May I ask why the name of the power switched? In the original, it was Truth, Justice and the American Way, and now it's The Man of Steel.

You noticed huh? I was afraid that "Truth, Justice and the American Way" might not be considered descriptive enough. Not that Man of Steel is either I guess.

The special power is supposed to describe Superman's willingness to sacrifice the offensive for the sake of literally "taking a bullet" for another.

Which one of those titles sounds more thematic? "Man of Steel" describes the ability to deflect the attack but "Truth, Justice ... " might be more noble sounding.

I'm sure Grey Owl has a Mighty Mouse tucked away on some thread somewhere right before Underdog and after Courageous Cat.

I'll stick with "The Man of Steel" for now but maybe it shouldn't be so Superman specific. What about "Defensive Sacrafice" or "Noble Shield"? I know they don't sound all comic-bookie but the power could then translate directly to another future custom hero with a similar attribute.

We went "Heroic Defense" for a similar power for the C3G Superman and I'm pretty happy with that power name after all's said and done. You might be right about going a bit more "generic" on this one.
How about this, though, as a play off his class and as comic booky as anything? "Protect the Innocent"?

Choosing a name that can be used for future figures with the same power is something I like to do as well, but let's also remember that Kaemon Awa's Quick Strike and Major Q10's Wrist Rocket are the same exact Special Attack, so it's not exactly the end of the world if another custom uses Man of Steel, but calls it something else.

And were we making changes to Thor to get him down to 390?
