The pop is doing just fine. Thanks for asking. And It seems like it would be pretty convenient for pop and I to team up. So, it would be Marvel-inclusive then?

Marvel inclusive, yes. Excellent choices for titans there.

I don't think we should try to do random partners ... I mean, we definitely couldn't do it ahead of time, because without knowing what titan your team is using, you wouldn't know what size army to bring. So the only way to do it randomly would be to set up some sort of random thing ahead of time, which means we have to have absolute commitments on who's going to be there way ahead of time ... yeah, just too much hassle. We should just all pair up now.

I'm assuming that SSX will want to partner with me, but I'll have to ask him tomorrow to make sure.

(Assuming we can make it at all ... Tgiving weekend still iffy for me. But I'll definitely try.)

We'll probably have to borrow someone's marvel on the day. I haven't bought that set cause I normally don't think it is very compatible. It will be fun to try out though. And still no location?

Well, it's not Marvel mandatory.

You can pick someone else for your titan. Any of the dragons would make good titans. Or Jotun, or Krug, etc.

Enh. I've never experienced any problems with compatibility. The only real problem, IMHO, is that the guys are so expensive that they're hard to work into an army unless you're playing really huge armies, and how often do you do that?

But power wise I've never seemed to have an advantage playing, say, Spidey or the Surfer against an all-HS army.

My status: I'm about 75% for the 30th (still think the next weekend would be better tho). SSX is 99% if I come, and we will be partners. So either you'll have an extra team or you won't, but no leaving someone else high and dry, so that's nice.

Should we predeclare titans, or should it just be a surprise? Are different teams allowed to have the same titan? If not, how do we resolve any conflicts there? Also, any ideas for what teams who get knocked out should do?

I don't see a problem with multiple titans. Other teams that are knocked out can play others that are knocked out for 3rd etc.

Create partners before hand, so that everything can be sorted, it can be a surprise or not totally up to you, BIGBOB may have at at the house out in Riverside, but either day it cannot be too late because of work. (Maybe another 1-5 thing?)

The best for me would be Dec 6th or 20th.

I might be able to make a game on the 29th but I would not gaurantee it. The 30th would be out for me though as Sundays are a family day exclusively and also the day I prep to go back to work.

Thanks for the help Xotli. I'm sure well like the opportunity to try out some marvel. And if you mind shackle a titan, then what? Im guessing it would be considered "out" and that team would be out. But what if you mind shackle your own titan so it would become "you control"?
And is it 14 hexes per person or per team?

Mindshackle, only works on opponents figures so you cannot mindshackle your own titan but you can shackle an opponents.

For some odd and totally inexplicable reason, I am having to work Friday and Saturday thanks to rain and holidays. If we could shoot for a Saturday maybe even a Friday night in December who would be available?

Are you saying postponing the 30th until December?

I could possibly make a Friday night in December, but sadly all the Saturdays are pretty muched sucked dry.
