In that scenario, you just wouldn't move your Scare Glow adjacent to that enemy.

I think this would be a way to word it:

FRIGHT LIGHT
Figures engaged with Scare Glow cannot move, subtract 1 from their defense, cannot be switched with any other figure that shares their Identity, and their cards cannot be flipped. Androids, Constructs, destructible objects, and figures with the Fearless personality are not affected by Fright Light.

It's niche, so I won't be sad if we prefer not adding that in. But I think it's kinda cool.

Ok, made a few tweaks here.

Didnt add anything about no flipping for now since there doesnt seem to be a universal clamoring for it and I dont really want to devote too much of the card to weird counterdraft effects. But I figure we can still discuss that during testing.

Results:
Game 1: Iron Man and Moon Knight end the game with 3 life a piece.
Game 2: Spider-Man does whatever a spider can do with 4 life.
Game 3: Skeletor returns from the start zone with many wounds in his book and ends the game with 4 life.


Trying Scare Glow with his actual boss here, bit hard to do when Skeletor doesn't really have a lot to build around or other synergies going on right now. But Scare Glow can lock people down while Skeletor peaces out to the start zone to build up wounds if you time things right which is ok. If we end up with some sidekick style bonding for Skeletor Scare Glow will work a wee bit better than here in the Robot army since you could drop him and then follow up with an attack making use of his minus to defense, but the Summoning is once per game thing so it's not a huge deal.

Results:
Game 1: Doom comes to us all with 3 life.
Game 2: Cheshire takes the victory with 3 life.
Game 3: Doom has full health, Blob but 2 wounds (ruining that whole 3 pattern we had going). I lucked into gumming up like the whole team and Blob just wouldn't die.


Testing him with an actual target for his 'no switching' thing. Really didn't feel oppressive or whatnot, the opponent has plenty of control over the effect so they'd have to have a brain fart to have Captain Marvel get stranded on his card or something. Seeing as how most of the newer switching designs are even harder to disrupt, I'm really not worried about that aspect too much.
Doom is kinda an interesting one to build with since your bonding can steal other people's stuff, so you can afford to go heavier on passive support types as long as they can move into the action efficiently enough. Scare Glow is decent enough at offense to feel fine taking turns with him if you need to too. Going double lockdown units kept Doom fairly safe, but didn't feel over-powering (at least not on Scare Glow's end).

Overall: I think he's fine. Not the most earth-shattering design ever made but... he's a rando 2nd tier minion from an 80s toyline that never even made it into the TV show. He has a reasonably strong passive effect, but he's definitely not on the same power level as Blob or whatnot.

I'm thinking of raising his points to 210 to be on the safe side and to work with Skeletor's cost a bit, and absolutely not because I'm trying to hit every point value and need a 210 but not a 200, that's crazy talk.
