Easy Swamp Plants - Tutorial Last Page

Im sure its been done before but i thought id show mine off. Less than $3 for a set of about 5 brush leaves, Walmart fishtank accessories and a little hot glue, tada, Marro Swamp plants!

I dunno.... Looks a little out of place, too bright. It just doesnt seem to "click" to me.

Are you kidding? Those colors perfectly contrast with the dark green of the swamp! Great job on those plants!

I think they look awesome. Are they 100% perfect? No...but nothing really ever is....but this is probably "Ivory Soap" good.

I'd say Leif Kicker pushes out 'Perfect' if you call what Hasbro has given us 'Good.' But that's jsut my opinion.

i know these arent totally realistic, but i think there heroscape-listic. theyve got that almost really detailed, yet sort of cartoony look that heroscape pieces have.

I'm sure Leif himself would say that his work isn't perfect either. Whenever you make a custom piece of terrain, no matter how phenominal it looks there is always something you wish you could do better or something more you wanted to do with it but was unable to achieve.

Very nice, the only thing I would do differently is to not glue it straight to a hex since now that's the only thing you can do with it (unless you rip it off).

Obviously that means something for a base would be needed. I'm thinking a 25mm base (like Warhammer) or even an extra glyph (painted to match) might work nicely.
