Re: The Book of Aztek - Breathing
NAME = AZTEK
SECRET IDENTITY = UNO SPECIES = HUMAN UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = CHAMPION PERSONALITY = NAÏVE SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 4 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 4 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 170 MASK OF WARRIORS Add 1 to your initiative roll for each Order Marker on this card. Before taking a turn with Aztek, you may reveal an “X” Order Marker on this card to add 2 to his Attack number and any 20-sided die rolls made for him for the remainder of his turn. PLASMA BEAM 17 Instead of attacking, you may choose a non-adjacent figure within 4 spaces of Aztek and roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 17 or higher, the chosen figure receives a wound. After using Plasma Beam, you may use it two additional times. OCCULT ARMOR Aztek is never attacked when leaving an engagement and is never in clear sight of non-adjacent enemy figures. Once per game, if Aztek would receive enough wounds to be destroyed, you may instead move all your unrevealed Order Markers to this Army Card and ignore those wounds. If you do, at the end of the round, roll two unblockable attack dice against each figure adjacent to Aztek and remove Aztek from the game. SUPER STRENGTH FLYING C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Aztek - Breathing
Good call. Pretty old write up, so might have some creaky language in it!

Re: The Book of Aztek - Breathing
Huh, a guy I've never heard of. Weird, that doesn't happen often anymore.
Solid writeup, nothing too fancy here. |

I've heard of this guy but only from Bats' workshopping threads.

Re: The Book of Aztek - Breathing
I dig the Blasma Beam.
Nothing too crazy, looks like a fun but simple design. Definitely appreciates the d20 boosters from the JL faction. |

Re: The Book of Aztek - Breathing
Yeah, I depowered him a tad from 6/6 stats because I figure he's pretty D-list and I also wanted lower point options for JL builds.
That's the place to look. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Aztek - Breathing
He's on the same level as Blue Devil or Nomad where I know of him, but also couldn't tell you a single thing about him.
Very "basic" powerset, but it works, and I feel like that might be all you need for a cheap filler Champion dude. |

Yep, that's the plan, and why I finally got around to doing this guy.
