I just had a thought late last night. I like the idea of criminal discovery for a power to synergize with Daredevil, but I don't think it fits the best here. Especially with the change to the first power, now being named "Nelson and Murdock" I think Foggy's powers should all be private defense attorney focused. Criminal Discovery, as it is worded now is more of a DA, prosecuting attorney type power. It would work well for a Harvey Dent DA card. My other idea is to redo my Karen Page design to incorporate "Criminal Discovery" in more of an investigative/dig up dirt type power, so she would have her main synergies with Daredevil where as Foggy's would be with Murdock and Clients.


I have an idea for a replacement for Criminal Discovery:


"EXONERATION
For the entire game, if Foggy’s Client originally had the Class of Criminal, it now has the Class of Citizen. Foggy’s Client’s Class may not be changed or modified in any way by any other special power on another figure’s army card."


Foggy would then be able to clear a Criminal's name and keep a figure from being labeled a Menace or from being Framed-Up by Kingpin.

On the other hand, Foggy did act at DA for a while so Criminal Discovery is not inappropriate for his power set. I just wanted to get some other thoughts on the matter.

The other option is to leave Foggy as is, and I would work the Client support into a Karen Page design where she can help clear a client's name. Maybe that would be more appropriate.

I'd love a more active investigator type Karen Page, Criminal Discovery also mirrors what she does on the show!

Client Support sound cool for her too, I'll be excited if we see a DA Dent in the future as well.

Definitely a power-down, but I dig it. t does make the designs lean more heavily towards Citizen builds...maybe there's another class we could do? Not sure what it would be.

Would possibly be neat if it worked on Repentant figures too, since it feels thematically on point. That said, I'm not actually sure mirroring the Thunderbolts is the right idea for this character. I'm torn.

I agree with everything you said. I'm not sold either way which is why I wanted to bring it up. I really like the ability as written with how it will work with Daredevil and Jessica Jones. As long as thematically it doesn't bother anyone too much, maybe it's best to leave the design as is and work another client support power into a Karen Page design.

What benefits are there to having the Citizen class right now?

The current version doesn't bother me at all thematically, but I don't mind it on Karen Page either.

These are the Citizen synergies. I think Citizen works fine.

Having Foggy help DD directly counter Kingpin messing with him is awesome. And then Criminal Discovery could be saved for Karen, cause tbh if she's just gonna function as a damsel (even though that's how she originated), I'm not super interested in seeing her carded.

Those synergies are slightly outdated. They don’t reflect the changes made to the Civilians.

Sorry for the long pause. I've had plenty of time to think about this design, and I want to keep it as is. I really like the direct synergy that Criminal Discovery provides to Daredevil (l) and don't want to lose it. If there are no objections I'm gonna move forward with the checklists.
