A straight-up 4x/4x (DKs/SDs) has worked for me.
I have found 5x Eradicators+filler (or not at 450) to be pretty effective. |

Okay, guys. How's this?
Nhah Scirh Cultists x3 240 Raelin 320 Havechs x2 500 Do you think the Havechs make it redundant? Would Q9 be better? What if I kept the Havechs and replaced the Cultists with Stingers? Does this build need Raelin at all? "elvenwizard9." Now that's a username I've not heard in a long time.

Q9 would probably be *better*, but that army looks fun to me, and reasonably competitive. The Cultists are always decent sometimes awesome. The Havechs have a lot of punch but that build doesn't completely depend on them, which is good. The build doesn't need Raelin, but she's probably a better use of the 80 points than another squad of Cultists.

Well met! Playtesting my new custom, Kha: Looking for armies to take advantage of his synergies. What do you all think of these, and what else would you suggest? Those are some good builds to start. I think my favorite is Ullar, partially for theme and partially because I think the balance among the units is even enough for Kha to get a chance to shine. Brutes/Cutters seems fun too, though it would take a lot of army management to keep that whole engine going. But would make for a fun game.
I think in general, whatever army you're playing, you're going to want to be using at least 3 Nottingham Brigands with Kha, and that comes to 180 points which is a decent ranged package for an army, and you can add to it easily with more Brigands/Rogue Heroes if you have the points. You're also going to want something to control masses of commons if you come against that, so a multi-attacker or a strong screen makes sense (and, of course, if you want the "best" screen and "best" backup, you can always just run Rats/Raelin/Range with the Rogues being the Range). Your first two armies have that and it's a good direction - the rogues can make decent cleanup there. Monthly Utah Tournaments in SLC!!
