I never got around to pre-ordering. I went into GameCrazy on sunday though and tried, but with 2 days till it came out, i was too late. I did give them my name and number, but this was after standing at the counter for about 15 minutes, while a group of people felt it was absolutely necessary to walk BEHIND the counter to get the employees attention to ask for a Gamecube and then have a 10 minute debate on which f'in color to get. I hate game crazy.

I'm officially a guitar hero god. I have learned to solo and it's like i'm playing a brand new game now. I don't even see notes scrolling down anymore, I see patterns.

It's like the scene in the Matrix where Neo sees the world turn to code. I'm basically saying that I see the matrix now.

I got really really good, but then didn't play for a month and now I am having troubles with 5 staring hard. I was 5 starring expert for a while... Just one quick question... Is it humanly possible to get 100% on Jordan on expert?

i don't think so. not without cheating. I'm more worried about the 12 second solo on "Because, it's Midnite" by limozeen from Rocks the 80s

Ehh....try and rent it first. It's a $40 game, but IMO, it's one of those that you like or you don't like. No in between. I feel like this game was thrown together in a week or something. like most high-school projects. Done the night before it's due. It's not a bad game, not in the least, but with only 30 songs and no bonus songs, it's not quite as good as GH1 or GH2.

/agree, and, quite frankly, after the 4th set, the rest of the song's don't impress me as "rocks the 80's".

I do hear that classic rock bands are flooding Activision with reqests to be in GH 3 and beyond..

that would be amazing. I want more aerosmith (cept more accurate) and some more Hendrix and some Stones and some beatles (Helter Skelter would be nice) and some ACDC and Led Zeppelin

I'm more classic, Eagles would be nice. And ZZ Top, yes more Aerosmith. Bangles cut of "Hazy SHade of Winter", etc etc... More Rock, less metal for me..
