All of the DnD units have been some of the best designed units in the game.
As long as the current design team has any input at all, in the upcoming DnD waves, then I feel very confident that Heroscape is alive and well. Thank You, Design Team. If a chicken and a 1/2, can lay an egg and a 1/2 in a day and a 1/2, how long would it take a grasshopper with one wooden leg to kick all the seeds out of a cucumber?

The new powers and mechanics that have been used in the last year and a half are absolutely amazing! The efforts of our design team never cease to amaze me.
