Re: C3G Terrain Makers
Too bad this is a vintage, rare, almost unfindable thing ... it'd be so good to have like four to twelve of these.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

It pretty much looks like a Grishnakh building with an interior...

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
Then let's do it! And hexify the playable spaces, get a tutorial, and teach me how to make them.

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
I'd love for the C3G Skyscraper to be based on that basic interior/exterior shape. I might see us losing the top piece to put more combat room on the roof, though.

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
Also an option. What kind of dimensions would that be? Are we talking two interlocked 24 hexers as the base, or something larger?

Well we did discuss this very thing way back when but then there was a lot of "reasons" people brought up that it wouldn't work...despite me pointing out that I'd been doing it since my first days of discovering C3G. I had made some three sided buildings (mush like Grish buildings but before I knew his work) with a floor. I cut out windows so Hawkeye could shoot out the window from the second floor. My biggest issue was I couldn't figure out a reliable way to store them and eventually they sort of fell apart (after moving halfway across the country) Should still be some early pictures in my custom thread. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
I remember fighting/arguing in favor of such things from the start, so I'm a for it still. I just don't have the know-how to execute such a thing without someone walking me through it at the very least.

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
So how do we make them more durable and/or store better? (Honestly, if it's more durable, I'll find the space to just keep it on display).

Durability isn't as much of an issue if they can be stored. A store flat system has always been the dream. I don't have the shelf space to store a stack of these. If I had access to a CNC machine I'd probably take a run at @quozl buildings since I think they could easily be used for this three sided box idea. I tried different ideas in the past and I'll link the photos to my Big Belly Burger stores when I get a chance.
