Re: Dungeon Run - Coming Soon from Plaid Hat Games
After reading the rule book, I am very impressed. Makes me wish I hadn't spent money on Ravenloft. Good luck to Mr. Bistro and Colby - you guys are making waves!
You may have already mentioned it, but what is the playing time for 2 players? 4? ~AW88 Currently playing: Dixit; Catan; Pastiche; and waiting for my copy of Critical Mass to arrive from Arcane Wonders! Dum Vivimus, Vivamus! |

Couple of Dungeon Run related links on BGG today:
Go forth and Game interview with Colby ( it mentions Dungeon Run, but it's mostly about the man, the legend). Superfly Circus interviewed Chad Hoverter (DrinkMoreGuiness) the sculptor of the DR minis. Last edited by CheddarLimbo; May 21st, 2011 at 04:29 PM. |

Re: Dungeon Run - Coming Soon from Plaid Hat Games
Stabbins is the embodiment of Cave Goblin values. He knows to lurk in the shadows – you can’t be eaten if you can’t be seen. He knows to creep silently – you can cut more throats that way. But Stabbins also knows the most important lesson of all, one that has kept him alive five times longer than the average Goblin (he is ten years old) – Stabbins knows how to feed off of others. He does not throw himself needlessly at a superior opponent. Oh no! Stabbins trails his foe, gathering what scraps his adversary leaves behind. Quick hands can loot some of the more choice items his enemy may acquire, and when that enemy has nothing else to yield, Stabbins relieves them of their life while they sleep. Stabbins plans on returning to his people with a mighty relic, and he will do anything he can to get his grubby hands on it – so long as he doesn’t actually have to do anything himself. Stabbins will be the most hated hero in the history of heroism.
I love him already. AW88 Currently playing: Dixit; Catan; Pastiche; and waiting for my copy of Critical Mass to arrive from Arcane Wonders! Dum Vivimus, Vivamus! |

Re: Dungeon Run - Coming Soon from Plaid Hat Games
Since Summoner Wars and Dungeon Run are set in the same universe, is there a kind of reasonable chance we'll see any heroes appear in both games?
I don't need no instructions to know how to rock.

Re: Dungeon Run - Coming Soon from Plaid Hat Games
Vargagg likes to kill things. A lot. Too much perhaps, since he once went mad, and began butchering his own tribe when he felt they sat too long in idleness. They cast him out, but only after his fury had burned out. Now he travels the world, seeking out the gravest of dangers and the largest of fights. Recently he has heard about a dungeon known as Kravlas. What better test of his prowess then dark halls choked with enemies? Vargagg plans on storming Kravlas and putting every living thing he finds there to death. There is also rumor of a dark being that controls the beasts of Kravlas, and Vargagg imagines such a being would be a marvelous adversary. And oh yeah, supposedly there’s a Summoning Stone there too. Re: Dungeon Run - Coming Soon from Plaid Hat Games
Cool... the thing I find most intresting about him is the red tatoos
Those are really cool, though. I think you just inspired me to paint the minis. EDIT- Yeah, I think it's reasonable that they might be in both games. There's a possibility that they might even be the new summoners, the storyline would fit nicely then. |

Re: Dungeon Run - Coming Soon from Plaid Hat Games
Well the first two previews were ones I was most excited about. Some really powerful abilities in there. The one to force a hero to discard one of theirs is nice (or annoying, heh) too.
