It's not a sporting way to roll dice. "Jimmy-rolling" is annoying to other players and gives you an unfair advantage.

An easy way to prohibit this is using a dice tower. You can make an easy one from Legos or even an FoTA set.

As far as I'm aware there's no official rules on what counts as rolled but typical dice etiquette is to roll all dice at once and determine beforehand what will be considered a reroll (e.g. falls off the table or lands cockeyed or whatnot). To my knowledge I can't recollect someone playing like this (although I do think I recall someone rolling the one die at a time thing). That said, the age of your brother could be a factor along with how he'll take some kind of constructive feedback. I'd settle on an agreed upon way to roll dice so that way it's fair for all. If he might not be receptive to that, I'm not 100% certain what route I'd take next but that might be something you're better suited to know than myself.

@superfrog , I have a few towers, he can't jimmy roll the dice in them so he dosen't use them. @Dysole , dice that fall on the floor or are cockeyed are always rerolled. I think this is just bad behavior.(etiquette)You wouldn't hold back a die to throw at your other one at a casino, am I right.thanks for the reply guys.

I've seen people roll that way before. It's super annoying and unsporting. Your brother should be flogged with a wet towel!

I join this opinion ... clearly it is cheating and not acceptable.
If it helps just make a "house rule" that dice can't be changed once they have initially come to rest after having been rolled. No casino or other properly run dice game would allow this practice.

I think you should simply pick up every die as he rolls it and keep the tally separately. If he expresses that he doesn't want you to do that, you can negotiate that he won't play Die Sniper.

To all, I put this on here partly as a fun way to show him that he is being a cheater, He is our kid brother(14 year old) Myself and my other brothers are in our 20's. I think that is how he thinks its ok. Then he hits us with this one liner. "Its just a game." I know most of you guys are like me, it is a game, THE GAME, so don't cheat. I love all you guys comments, I'm going to have him read them next time he's out at my house.

Next time you attack him, make sure to add five to your attack dice, when he calls you out on it simply reiterate that it's just a game, and that it's no big deal that you're cheating. Or that's what I'd do, anyway.
