Re: The Book of Orko - Public Playtesting
It's been a while. I'll have to look at Vanish now!
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

EDIT: I'll hold for a moment to see how this ends up. Thematically, I think making it work like Isamu and include a 'must not end this move engaged restriction' is the best way to make it mechanically clean and thematically evocative. Hell, at that stage just give him Vanish 7 - it kind of does everything you want in an existing power. I think that should work. I don't think it invalidates your initial, especially since this guy's an extremely simple character - I think we should be able to tie a bow on this guy in a handful of games, nothing seems unreasonable here. |

Re: The Book of Orko - Public Playtesting
I want special attacks to still get through, so no Vanish, but I will borrow wording from there. Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: The Book of Orko - Public Playtesting
I would think not ended engaged with the one who attacked him is more important than not ending engaged with anyone at all. Deadpool attacks him, he runs away and hides, behind Dragon Man's leg!! Now Dragon Man looks ready to eat him.

Re: The Book of Orko - Breathing
My initial definitely shouldn't be given the same weight as I used him as a tie-down figure a lot.
OK, based on Isamu, this is what I've got: Quote:
Edit: I prefer the not engaged at all. If he's running away, he's running away. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Orko - Public Playtesting
Should see a drop in points then if you were using him to purposely tie figures up and waste time attacking him. |

Re: The Book of Orko - Public Playtesting
Okay, continuing the test like that.
Not the same weight is different from no use at all. I wouldn't be surprised if he went down 20 or so points, but he's feeling fine to me - I'd have no issues fast-tracking this guy after another set. Not the first time changes have been made mid testing, and this is less than plenty. |

Re: The Book of Orko - Public Playtesting
Definitely. He was playing a lot like Dick Grayson Robin, but that's Robin's main trick, so I expect he'll go down a bit (which I'm totally fine with).

Re: The Book of Orko - Public Playtesting
Well MotU DID crossover with DCU, so that's something.
Thanks for the test! If you want to run #2 at 80 points, I'm cool with that. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
