Thunderbolts and Masters fill different niches, though. T-Bolts are (sometimes unwilling) protagonists rather than antagonists. If we ever do get a Thunderbolts movie, the Masters would be a great choice of villain for it, though. The two teams have a lot of history, what with the T-Bolts being a heroic outgrowth of the Masters.

Joys of getting old. Getting a new pair of glasses that have progressive lenses.

Always being nearsighted (since like 5th grade), I never had a problem reading with my glasses or contacts. Sure it's been a few years since I'd been to the eye doctor, but this year in particular, my nearsightedness got a bit worse (scary when driving) but also noticed that I had to start holding reading material further away to be able to read. Crap!

So progressive lenses are basically like bifocals that blend the nearsighted prescription of the top half, into the farsighted prescription of the bottom half and not having that distinct line in the middle. They look normal, but now I have to get used to having to tilt my head up or down more, depending on what I'm doing. Kind of annoying, but since I just got them today, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Ugh to getting older.

That sux. I'm good in that department anyway.

Fortunately, at the hospital I work at, we get yearly blood work for free, so I'm able to keep track of my good and bad cholesterol levels, as well as other stuff. So far so good. Though I also try to keep active at work and otherwise and stay away from fried stuff, but still like my sweets.

A buddy at work does likewise but his cholesterol is high, but it runs in his family.

Yeah, I have bad genes from both sides on that. I also have let myself eat terribly since getting laid off last April. *sigh*
