A well meaning friend brought over the fan edited Original Trilogy "Despecialized Editions by Harmy" unfortunately I'm not in the condition to watch movies yet but it did start a discussion about fan edits of the Prequel Trilogy. Has anyone ever explored any of these fan edited versions. From our research there seems to be two editors (Hal 9000 & L8wrtr) that seem to be universally considered the better attempts. My friend managed to track down Hal 9000's ep II & III and I was just curious if putting forth the effort to find ep I or the L8wrtr versions were worth the trouble.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

If you have the EPII DVD, just skip forward to the next chapter each time Anikan is on Naboo. The start of each chapter is always the Obi-Wan investigations and then it alternates back and forth between the two different story arcs, so it works out really well at eliminating the bad while keeping the good.

I actually did enjoy a compromised version of the prequel trilogy. I think it did all 3 movies in about 3,5 hours. And it didnt feel like anything was missing

testing, and everything overall is kind of slow right now. We are working on finishing up our Battle of Endor Release. There are tons of units in that release, that is what is taking so long. We have been working on this release for over a year now.
