Re: The Book of Ms. Marvel - Design
AVENGER ATTACK COMMAND
At the start of the game, you may choose up to 2 other Unique Heroes you control and place a white Avengers Marker on each of their cards. After revealing an Order Marker on this card, instead of moving, you may take a turn with any Unique Hero with an Avengers Marker you control. Works for me. She can do it with two other heroes without Cap around, and having Cap around makes her even better. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

And assuming future Avengers also use the Markers, her builds should diversify quite a bit. Looks good to me.

Re: The Book of Ms. Marvel - Design
Just wanted to post here so this will show up on my User CP. I don't have time to look at anything yet as I have to get some dinner and head out to game night with my gaming group. I'll look at it either late tonight or early in the morning.

Re: The Book of Ms. Marvel - Design
Don't know too much about the character, but for the gameplay I really like the Avenger tie-in.
I think LP's comment about her ranged attack is worth a second look, unless you're expecting to have her in the high 300's or so point range. She'd feel very similar to Captain Marvel (Marvel version). |

Re: The Book of Ms. Marvel - Design
Hey GP!
And I just thought of a problem with the Avengers markers. There's nothing preventing her from putting one on Cap. Cap can't put them on himself, so I'm almost always going to draft her with him so that he boosts himself, and she can take a turn with him. |

Re: The Book of Ms. Marvel - Design
Cap only boosts figs in clear sight, so he wouldn't boost himself.

Re: The Book of Ms. Marvel - Design
Okay, back from gaming.
Looks good Margloth. I like the pending changes. I like that with her and Cap in an army, there's 7 Avenger Markers out there, so you can have a huge battle royal with the big guns, or have smaller point armies with a bunch of lower price heroes with being able to spread 7 of them around. Re: The Book of Ms. Marvel - Design
Looking over similar-stat figures, I agree, she's too strong. Ms. Marvel should be mid-to-high 200s, and right now she's looking at low 300s minimum. Lowering her base attack and giving her a melee boost should fix that.
