Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
Well, if we give him Stealth Flying, we have to cut a power somewhere else ... (this guy shouldn't be a candidate for a four text power card, IMO). Though I almost wonder if Redwing doesn't deserve his own card, the way Lockheed will eventually have ... ?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
Only have a second before I leave the house for awhile.
I like the d20 for Redwing Distraction Bats. It would be neat to have a separate mini/card for Redwing with a bonding type power with Falcon. 6 Billion Pair Of Eyes kind of has me stumped for the theme of it. While Falcon has telepathy of sorts with birds, how does that make his teammates better at shooting? Also, it would be weird for DD, Moon Knight, Mockingbird etc. that have range of 4 because they throw a club, to have a range of 7 with a club. Not to mention Robin getting a range of 8 with a batarang. Maybe it can be like the Infra-red goggle glyph where the birds are circling or pointing out figures adjacent to jungle brush or in shadow, thus eliminating those bonuses. Stealth Flying would be cool Gotta go Hand of fate is moving and the finger points to you ...Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man TUTORIAL FOR RE-BASING FIGURES 3hrs 43mins 32secs = 1242nd of 8808 overall - 1988 Honolulu Marathon |

Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
A power that allows Falcon and adjacent allies to nullify jungle and shadow bonuses when attacking would be cool ...

Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
I do know that there is an Uncommon Falcon in the Captain America set AND that it has a removable Redwing that would be really easy to rebase.
Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. As for the shadow & brush bonus elimination - we have a glyph for that now . Just kidding, I don't hate it. I'm really not that familiar with Falcon, as the only exposure to him was on that Super Hero Squad & on that he definitely wasn't portrayed as having any stealth like abilities. What about this: Quote:

Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
Looks good. I'm good either way on Redwing being a separate card. I'm sure if we did it, we could make it fun, but it's not a "must have" for me.
You don't need the first comma in "Six Billion Pairs of Eyes." C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
Personally, I am seeing way too many of these "targeting powers" lately, and I have to say that I don't like it. I am not saying that I don't like this write up, just that I don't like the trend of using "targeting powers".
I think the design would benefit a lot by simply cutting the Red Wing Distraction power as it isn't necessary to the character nor is it balanced enough as is. |

Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
Are you responding to the SP, Griff, or to A3n's proposed update on this page? His proposed update on this page doesn't have any "targeting" powers, just ones that respond to attacks.

Re: The Book of Falcon - Design Phase
I didn't even know there was a page 2.
A3n's suggested writeup is spot on for what I like and love. Good work team. |

I'm liking where we're at too. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
