When Amazo uses his Special Attack is he supposed to be able to attack 2 times with his normal attack after that? The way it is worded makes it seem like he can, but I assume that's not the intent.

There's definitely an intended, implied "with this special attack" there, yes.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

No prob! I feel like there are a lot of special attacks that use similar language. Is this an FAQ worthy concern?

I'd throw one up, it doesn't hurt to have one. I am just writing out all the cards I don't have printed yet on index cards for testing and this stood out to me.
