Had some time so I knocked this one out. Hope ya don't mind!

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Catgirl

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
Pass. The only thing I wondered (giving my limited knowledge of the character but remembering some discussion of the character and that she led a team of Bat Boys), is if her Batcannon power shouldn't work with Sidekicks as well. Might make her a bit less niche.

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.
Pass

- BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding.
Pass

- SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak.
Pass. Could be a b!tch with Punisher's Armor Piercing Rocket, but I find both powers a little too unreliable to be considered anywhere near broken.

- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any.
Pass.

- FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play.
Pass. I found Batcannon to be a small but very fun power that feels very cool.

- FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against.
Pass. For 60 points, even if her Batcannon isn't working, she can skate into somebody's face and hold them down for an attack or two and not feel wasted.

- DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting.
Pass. For 60. If she goes up at all I'll probably be much less interested.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
Pass. I never got to use Skates as Hydra Base Gehenna is a bit rocky and she usually climbed up behind her vigilante and camped in order to get the most use out of Batcannon. My only other concern is that with her powers are a bit of a mismatch: she gets to back up a Vigilante, but only if she's within 5 spaces... but her mobility encourages her to break out ahead... and she can reduce an opponent's defense... but she has to be within 4 spaces of the target before the Vigilante attacks... which sometimes doesn't work because she's taking a turn AFTER the Vigilante... but for 60 points I can deal.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
Pass. Since Vigilantes tend to be a bit fragile, if all else fails use her for a 1-2 turn meat shield.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 60 felt fine.
- Give a brief overview. She really never got a chance to use any power but Vigilante Sidekick here, but she choked up the road at a key point and allowed Punisher to tear through a crucial piece in the opponent's army. Granted, this one was a bit of a lucky occurence, but as I stated before this shows that she's useful even as a meat shield.
Map: Hydra Base Gehenna
Units: Batman, Catgirl, Robin (Dick), Punisher, Alfred (600) vs. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Moon Knight (600)

Spoiler Alert!

Moon Knight goes to his card. Punisher and Catgirl move out. Luke and Danny move out. Punisher and Catgirl take a perch on a rock. Danny and Luke move in closer. Punisher guns 2 wounds into Luke, and Catgirl moves forward within range of Luke with her Batcannon, hoping to win initiative next turn or at least block Luke's move for a turn.

Catgirl's gamble doesn't pay off and Danny and Luke tag team her out of existence. Her death stopped the 2 Heroes from closing in on Punisher, however (Danny was positioned on a castle wall and could only leap to attack her or risk falling damage, she was still alive and Luke's move was cut short), and Punisher catches Luke's whiff with 3 skulls on his first attack, killing him and taking OM 2 with him. Punisher launches a rocket into Iron Fist for a wound. Moon Knight drops in with height on Punisher and gives him a wound. Punisher repositions to equal footing with Moon Knight and puts a wound to him (MK's defense dice were HOT!)

Punisher gets height, kills Moon Knight and chips into Danny for a wound. Danny attacks Punisher from height disadvantage and misses him even with 7 attack dice, but heals himself of a wound. Batman takes a castle wall but misses with a Batarang, but the Boy Wonder hits Danny for a wound from height disadvantage! Iron Fist leaps to equal footing with Punisher and punches him to death. Batman misses with another 'rang, and Dick engages Danny. Danny swings at Dick and misses.

Batman and Dick both miss Danny. Danny misses Dick but heals down to a single wound. Bats and Dick miss again. Danny hits Dick for 2 wounds. Bats puts a wound on Danny. Danny kills Dick.

Danny gets an Evasive Strike from Bats, but heals it. Danny blocks Bats' attack. Danny puts a wound on Bats. Alfred extracts Bats. Danny leaps forward. Bats races out and puts 2 wounds on Danny.

Bats rolls a solid attack, and Danny can't stop it.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Batman with 1 wound and full health Alfred survive on R6T1

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 60 felt fine here... if Dinah had been rolling hot, Catgirl might have felt more like 70 here as she averaged a Batcannon distraction each turn... but the Green Arrow/Black Canary/Vigilante sidekick combo really benefits from having Commander Rogers available as an OM failsafe since they all tend to be a little fragile.
- Give a brief overview. Catgirl hit quite a few Batcannon rolls here, which is useful against high defense figures like the Gorilla City Warriors and Grodd, but unfortunately her team wasn't able to exploit the reductions very well (I've never had Dinah miss so many FoF rolls). Still, her team won handily here.

Units: Catgirl, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Commander Rogers (750) vs. Gorilla Grodd, Gorilla City Warriors x1, Professor Zoom, Atom (750)

Spoiler Alert!

Grodd moves out with the Gorillas. Ollie moves out but misses Grodd. Gorillas and Grodd advance. Ollie takes minor height and kills a monkey. Monkeys engage and put 2 wounds on Ollie. Dinah screams and kills a monkey, Ollie misses, and Catgirl moves up.

Grodd misses Ollie and fails to take control of him. Catgirl fires her Batcannon and reduces the last GCW's defense by 1, which is good because Dinah rolls poorly and juuuust manages the kill. Grodd misses Ollie again and fails to control him. Catgirl's Batcannon fires blanks, but Dinah manages a wound on Grodd. Grodd kills Ollie, and sends Dinah at Catgirl, giving the young sidekick a wound. Dinah takes height on Grodd, and Catgirl distracts him with a single batarang, but Dinah's fists of fury aren't very angry.

Catgirl distracts Grodd again, but again Dinah fails to capitalize on it. Grodd kills Dinah with a single shot. Rogers moves up but misses Grodd. Grodd puts another wound on Catgirl. Rogers puts a wound on Grodd. Grodd misses Rogers. Rogers misses Grodd.

Grodd kills Catgirl. Rogers misses Grodd. Grodd attacks Rogers, rolling poorly... and Rogers rolls all shields: dead monkey, lost OM 3. Rogers moves toward the middle of the map.

Zoom races in with Atom and speeds off without attacking Rogers (no where to do it but from height disadvantage and he fears counterstrike wounds). Rogers steps on Atom, taking OM 2 with him. Rogers puts 2 wounds on Zoom. Zoom rolls poorly in his attack and receives a 3rd wound. Rogers swings but catches only air.

Rogers catches face and Zoom goes down.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Full health Commander Rogers survives to R6T1

I know the powers are "mismatched," but that was the concensus. Just draft her with other sidekicks, and that's solved! As for the Cannon working with sidekicks, I'm pretty sure the other heroes wanted her to just work with Vigilantes.

I'd be open to Bat-Cannon working with Sidekicks as long as it's other Sidekicks (aka shouldn't work on her own attack).

That's what I assumed. Should we change it? If so, I'd like to get that third test, I think.

I don't know as you'd really need a 3rd test. You know the math: A one in 4 chance in hitting the roll, and 3 times to try. That doesn't change with Sidekicks, and really she's probably less effective in a Sidekick army (since she doesn't have bonding, yet).

EDIT: Although you'd probably want to make it a "once per OM" power, since she could back up both Batman and Robin. Probably want it that way even if she doesn't work with Sidekicks... can't Nite Owl bond with other Vigilantes?

Can we use "Once per OM" without it being overly cheesy? I'm fine with it (And yeah, Nite Owl bonds with Vigilantes), just gotta work on the wording.

Yeah, I'd want it once per Order Marker too, but the wording on that might be too difficult to figure out to make such a change worthwhile ....

Pass, even though my d20 was kinda cold, I think the roll is fine.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
Pass, keep her protected and within 4 of the opponents figures, and she will shine as bright as your D20!

- Give a brief overview. Catgirl skates into postion, uses her Batarang Cannon several times but can't roll well. She becomes a priority target and with some lucky rolls stays upright but eventually goes down.

Batman and robin move.
Lexcorp move up from SZ, the other moves and shoots w/h on Robin dealing one.
Punisher moves attacks that Lexcorp w/Assault Rifle, destroying it with final attack. Catgirl moves and skates up.
Lexcorp move up from SZ to other side of map Platform, Electro moves up.
Batman moves adj to Warehouse and attacks w/Batarangs+height on Electro who blocks. Robin moves adj to Bats and attacks Electro which is also blocked.

Round 2.
Lexcorp move up from SZ and attack Robin who blocks. Electro moves back and attacks w/Electrostatic Bolt on Robin and Bats also Affected. 3 Skulls is blocked by Robin but Bats is dealt 2.
Bats Grapples to platform and attacks w/h on Lexcorp destroying it. (t2) Robin moves back into Shadow.

Lexcorp attack w/h on Catgirl again, 1 skull is blocked. Electro (scared by Catgirls Cannon) attacks her and Punisher but 1 skull is blocked by both.
Punisher, Catgirl uses her Batarang Cannon again on Sandman but still misses the roll, Punisher attacks w/Armor Piercing on Sandman who blocks the 1 skull roll, Robin attacks Sandman who blocks.

Punisher picks up First aid in Shadow and attacks w/Assault Rifle on Electro dealing 2. (t3) Robin moves adj to Lexcorp who blocks.
Lexcorp attack Robin who blocks, 2nd Lexcorp destroys Robin w/h on a whiff.
Punisher, with Assault Rifle and height destroys Electro.

- What should be the unit's point value? 60 seems kinda low for her potential. If she makes the Batarang Cannon roll with any consistency
- Give a brief overview. Catgirl with Scanner (from Bats) moves in trying to stay adj to Cops. Uses her Batarang Cannon several times but misses most. She does reduce Harley's defense leading to her destruction, also with the Cannon helps Robin deal wounds to Joker. Becomes a Priority Target with that Cannon though and goes down to DP. Punisher w/h really outperformed in this one

Hugo springs the Inmates and they (6) all move out.
Gordon moves, Calls for Back Up and is surrounded by 3 Cops. Bats moves through Catgirl giving her the Police Scanner!
Hugo Springs Joker, Harley, Deadpool and 2 rear and 1 forward Inmate.
Gordon moves some, Calls for Back Up and is surround by 3 cops. Catgirl moves, but can't get adj to many cops. (1 only)
Hugo moves more Inmates.
Batman and Robin move. (adj to cops)

Round 2.
Hugo Mutates the Inmates, Punisher is Signaled to platform.

Batman moves, Batrangs and destroys an Inmate, Catgirl Skates in, but not too close to action.
Hugo, Inmates move, attack and destroy a Cop and Gordon with height blocks.
Batman moves, Catgirl uses her Batarang Cannon on Inamtes, but misses all 3 rolls, Batman Batarangs 3 Inmates destroying 1 and is Assaulted by 2 (T2)
Inmates attack Bats one is Shadow Struck, then a Cop Protects and Serves Bats!
Gordon moves, Calls for Back Up and w/h destroys an Inmate. Catgirl moves a little.
Inmates takes height and destroys Bats, Utilities knocked away.

Round 3.
Harley moves, picks up Batarangs and Smilex Bombs: Punisher w/h who blocks, Gordon is protected by a Cop who goes down, followed by another cop who protects Catgirl. Then removes the 3 and x OM's off Punisher and Gordon.
Punisher Catgirl uses Batcannon on Harley reducing her defense to 1! Punisher takes aim w/h and Assault Rifle takes her out. Robin destroys on Inmate.
Joker moves to and picks up Bat-Grapple.
Punisher, Catgirl uses Batarang Cannon on Inmate but misses. Punisher w/h and Assault Rifle attacks Inmate destroying it, then attacks Joker dealing 1, and knocking the Bat-Grapple away.
Deadpool moves in, attacks Punisher w/h dealing 1.
Punisher OM was removed by Smilex.

Round 4.
Punisher, moves attacks w/Armor Piercing Rocket on Deadpool, but is blocked. Catgirl moves back into Shadow.
Deapool moves attacks a Cop (adj to Robin with less defense) and destroys it.
Punisher moves and w/h and Assault Rifle takes down 2 Inmates, then (with Batgirl's Cannons a miss) misses Joker. Robin moves, attacks w/h on Joker dealing 1. (t2)
Deadpool moves picks up Batgrapple and takes out last cop.
Punisher with one success full Batarang Cannon and height deal another to Joker (t3)
Deadpool moves attacks and deals 1 to Catgirl w/h and Shadow. (t3)

Round 5.
Punisher (Batcannon continues to miss) Attacks w/Assault Rifle on Deadpool but is blocked, Robin w/h deals one to Joker. ( Batarang Cannon still misses)
Deadpool moves adj to Catgirl and destroys her.
Punisher moves attacks w/h and Assault Riffle On Deadpool with a whiff DP is dealt 4! Robin w/h deals one to Joker.
DP moves under Warehouse and is blocked by Robin, then Heals for 1.
Punisher moves and w/APRSA and a 3 skull roll, takes out Deadpool, Joker dealt another by Robin. (t5)
Joker moves hits Robin w/Toxin. who moves adj to Gordon but is blocked. Then Joker attacks Robin dealing 2 more. (t3)

Round 6.
Joker moves into Shadow, misses the Toxin but destroys Robin.
Punisher picks up the Batgrapple and w/h and Assault rifle destroys Joker.
Hugo and last Inmate move up.
Punisher takes out Inmate.
Hugo moves.
Punisher w/AR + h destroys Hugo.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Team 1 wins. Alfred and Gordon unwounded, Punisher with 1 wound.

After doing the first test, I realized she needed protecting some. So that really influenced my drafting in the 2nd game. I wish I had tested her using different Vigilantes in that first one. Sorry for using pretty much same teammates in both tests, I can do another test with different teammates if needed. I think that 2nd team is about as competitive as she can get though.
