Mutants that start your player turn adjacent to Red Queen have the class of Pirate in addition to what is listed on their card. After revealing an Order Marker on this card and instead of attacking with Kate Pryde, you may take a turn with a Unique Pirate Hero you control. You may not take any turns with additional figures you control.
LOCKHEED ASSIST
Before moving with Red Queen, you may choose a figure within 4 clear sight spaces and roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 8 or higher, the next time the chosen figure receives one or more wounds during this player turn, you may choose to inflict an additional wound.
PHASE MASTERY
Red Queen can move through all figures and obstacles such as ruins, and is never attacked when leaving an engagement. After moving Red Queen on your turn, you may choose one figure she moved through this turn:
- If the chosen figure is a friendly figure, place it adjacent to Red Queen. The chosen figure does not take any leaving engagement attacks.
- If the chosen figure is an opponent's figure, it rolls 1 fewer defense die when attacked by Red Queen this turn, or 2 fewer defense dice if the chosen figure is an Android.

I've been really digging the recent Marauders series, where Kitty Pryde (now going by Kate) deals with her mid-life crisis by sailing around the seas being a pirate and rescuing the Mutants who are being held in their home countries after the Krakoa paradigm shift. Designed this with the idea that she could be the leader of a smaller Marauders team while still being able to slot into the larger X-Men builds. Put her with Xavier or Scott and she can still do most of the regular Shadowcat things.
