I can do that, but I'll lose the nice shiny finish on the ice tiles.
I'll have to add supports to those as well, but they should be easy to remove from the bottom of the tiles.

You could also try having holes in both and then gluing in separate pins.

That would help printing with minimal supports. I print hex tiles upside down.
