I've painted a bunch of resin, though not 3D printed. But I don't notice a difference between them and other materials per se, as they are all primed. But the difference I notice is that the resin stuff is generally more detailed than plastic. But then it depends on the plastic. The harder plastic seems to hold detail better, and metal can to.
I hope to get my Iden and Cassian soon. I went in on a group order with my buddy Brian and another guy. They were ordering stuff from Cool Stuff Inc and asked me if I wanted anything, and they needed to get over $100 for free shipping. So I ordered those 2 sets for Legion and Black Widow for Marvel Champions card game.

Yeah. Both Iden and cassian look very fun to play. K2s0 is my favorite character from that film so am pretty excited to run him. I played the battlefront 2 campaign on my ps4 with Iden and she is a pretty fun character as well. Im setting up some build plates for some more resin prints. Ill be filling in my phase 1 clone specialists, printing 3 squads of arc troopers, 5 more squads of B2 super battle droids, also got hold of some stormtrooper models to go with some eweb guns. Ill be printing 2 more of those to go with my legit one. I also put a jedi yoda and baby yoda on a build plate the other day. Ive also got some great mandalorian models Ill be doing a few squads of along with the mandalorian character from the show. Ive got a failed print stuck to my fep in the bottom of the tank right now on my resin printer that I have to pop loose but plan on getting it going by the weekend again. Me and my brother also used the silouettes last game. Ill print you a couple of those too. They print fast on my fdm. I made 8 of them in one go. The fdm prints with a big layer height arent as fun to paint. Ive slowed mine down to.1 layer height and it seems to hold much more detail for my larger prints. Ive been really enjoying throwing paint on models lately and have been knocking out a huge chunk of backlog of my horde of shame. Of course, I print things faster than I paint them.
