Re: 2010 Main Event Armies

Good point about the hollow offense on that one.

The Grut&Agent one is definitely the most polished one I've come up with so far. Pairing the Krav and the orcs seems natural to me, because the krav are good against the 4th/10th/trons, and the orcs don't have many other bad matchups.

I don't like that combo quite as much with dwarves and Mogrimm. Although you can obviously replace Nerak+Isamu with Darrak in the upgrades, I would be worried about running dwarves (or knights) without a special attacker.

I definitely like one of your suggestions:

80 Raelin RotV
240 Stingers x4
185 Zelrig
505, 15 hexes

@ 595, add ratsx2 + Isamu (24)
@ 615, add ratsx2 + Eldgrim/Guilty/Drow Chainfighter (24)
@ 635, add stingersx2 + Isamu (22)

That's a pretty nasty army.

ETA: if you like my 500-point trons+PKs idea, that works well... although the only upgrade that doesn't blow is Kaemon at 620.
