OUTER SPACE TERRAIN RULES (for testing)

Outer Space Terrain rules include rules for two new types of spaces: Cosmos spaces and Asteroid spaces.

Cosmos Spaces

Cosmos spaces are 0 height and may not be placed above any other tiles. To represent the vastness of space, when counting spaces for movement, range, or any special powers, each Cosmos space counts as two instead of one.

Whenever figures without the Flying special power enter a Cosmos spaces, their movement immediately ends.

Asteroid Spaces
Any rock tile placed above a Cosmos space is considered an Asteroid space. Asteroid spaces represent stable places in space, without atmospheres. Thus they do not include any of the movement restrictions of Cosmos spaces but figures occupying Asteroid spaces still risk exposure damage.

Exposure Damage
At the end of each round, any figure occupying a Cosmos or Asteroid space receives two automatic wounds if they do not have the Super Strength special power. If they do have the Super Strength special power, roll one unblockable attack die against that figure instead.
