Revdyer, I use my hand to make maps, too, and so do most of us. But when you put the map in VirtualScape, you can edit your map very easily. Especially when you make a map under BoV standard, because one hex being moved from here to there sometimes makes the difference

When I make map by hand, I pay less attention on the aesthetic part of it than the balance part. When I touch it up in VirtualScape, I move the hexes around to make the map look better. That way works for me so far
