I think that the siege engine hunger is even now being sated for good by high-attack super-strong Marvel figures. Not only can they knock down the door better than anyone before them, they're a big threat to fly over the wall, dispatch the guy on the door space, and open the gates from within. After playing with those guys, I don't have any desire for a battering ram or catapult.
