Welcome to the C3G Comic Book Club!
What is it?
The idea is to have a new book to read and discuss every 2-4 weeks. This can help us maybe fill out the ranks of C3G, get more people in the know about potential designs, and just have fun discussing comics with one another.
Anyone can participate in this and the discussions! Our goal is to always try and find things to read that are as accessible as possible!
This post will always contain current happenings, including currently nominated books, and links to the start of discussion of current and past choices!

How do I pick a book to read?
Want to be a rotating person to choose a book? Go ahead and leave a comment or send me a PM and I can add you to the list. We do ask that you partake in discussions at times if you want to be on the list.
No book in mind yet? Don't worry! I'll remind you to pick when it's near your turn.
Think you've got a suggestion? Great! Double check with these tips before you share:
Spoiler Alert!
1. Accessibility: See if you can find the book on some of the free services like Hoopla, Comixology Unlimited, or the services like Marvel Unlimited or DC Universe. If it isn't available there, check out how much it might cost to purchase it.
2. Universe: People seem generally pretty willing to try out new things, and the general consensus seems to be a preference to new things and new characters, so maybe see if you have something you're more excited about before choosing Batman Story #387. Unless its a really good one we haven't read. If we get a lot of Indy books, we may try and spread them out, as the Big Two are some of the primary interests of many interested folks.
3. Readability: General preferences seem to lean toward more self-contained stories, so definitely lean toward that. For example, Final Crisis doesn't read super well on its own without tie-ins, so it probably isn't a good call either. It doesn't hurt to have "supplemental reading" in mind, as you never know what kind of new interest might be piqued in your fellow readers!
4. C3Gability: This one is obviously not a requirement here, as some are more interested in the fun of discussing that the potential benefit to the project. If you're choosing a book because of a design you have coming up, let me know! I can try and make it a bit earlier in the queue. If you have no design in mind but think it would be cool to workshop one together, maybe pick a character from the book you're choosing so that we might all read with workshopping in mind!
